Netball Australias KNEE Program is designed to help prevent these injuries occurring. Whether you are a coach to your childs netball team, high performance coach, support staff or parent, this program is designed to help keep your players on the court for longer and moving more efficiently when there.... #mwna2020 #thekneeprogram

21.01.2022 It's the final game of Spring Comp tonight and some division winners will come down to tonights results. Trophies are awarded to the winner of each division and we ask that only one representative from the team go to control to collect the trophies. As many divisions are very close, please be patient and allow executive time to enter all scores and update the system. Best of luck to all teams competing and have a fun night.... #mwna2020

14.01.2022 Below is a message received from the De Kort family on the success of "Crazy Hair and Sock Day" 2020. Thank you to everyone who came dressed in crazy hair and socks and contributed to our fundraiser. Paul, Jake and I would like to thank the Collaroy Plateau Netball Club and the Manly Warringah Netball Association for embracing and hosting Crazy Hair and Socks Day last Saturday. We were humbled and grateful for the incredible love, support and generosity shown by so many playe...rs and supporters from the Collaroy Club and right across the association. Many thanks to you as well Lisa, for being so lovely and helpful in organising the day. The final total of donations was $2,610.75. The Kids Cancer Project is thrilled by the result, and grateful for the funds, that will be used to support Childhood Cancer research projects. Our family felt so uplifted after Saturday. It was so nice spending the day at the courts, meeting and catching up with so many lovely people. It was just so special to see that Alanas memory is alive within the Netball Community, I am sure that she was smiling on Saturday. I wish Collaroy and MWNA good luck for the rest of the season, and hope that next season will see a return to normal for you all. Best regards, and massive thanks, Jacqui de Kort Donations can still be made to the project via your clubs. #mwna2020 #crazyhairandsock #kidscancerproject #beawesome

10.01.2022 NetSetGo Tip of the week! Don't allow players to fall on the ball to gain possession (as per normal rules) award a free pass to the other team. As we come into week 9, we shouldn't be allowing the players to fall on the ball. They learn very quickly when you award a penalty pass to the other team.... #mwna2020 #netsetgo #teachthemyoung

09.01.2022 What Should Kids Drink at Sport? For most kids, drinking water before, during, and after playing sports will keep them hydrated. Some athletes who exercise for long periods or in very hot weather can benefit from a sports drink that has sugar and electrolytes. It's best for kids to skip the energy drinks. Many of the ingredients haven't been studied in children and could be harmful. Instead, kids and teens who play sports can improve their game through hard work and practice.... These lessons and values will serve them well both on and off the field. #mwna2020 #waterisbest
