04.01.2022 Tickets are still available for MAG&M Society Film screening evening! MAG&M Society is hosting a special fundraiser featuring an exclusive ‘first-look’ at a documentary film featuring Australian photographer, Greg Weight. Greg sat down to discuss his career and current Portraits Project exhibition at MAG&M with gallery curator, Ross Heathcote and filmmaker Michael Power.... The evening will run for 1 hour and include: - Curator’s introduction to Greg Weight project - Preview screening of Greg Weight documentary film (17mins) - Update on the Antipodeans project film. The Society are funding this brand new MAG&M film about The Antipodeans - a group of Australian modern artists who asserted the importance of figurative art, and protested against abstract expressionism. - Film teaser for Antipodeans (5mins) - Q&A There are still covid restrictions in place so the tickets are limited to 35 people per session. 03.01.2022 The 9 Designers project continues and October sees Ally Sara, aka, Wrong.Angler represent the 1990s with her limited edition silver rings at the Design Shop. Her creative foyer display is a playful homage to nineties nostalgia. The Design shop is open Tuesday - Sunday 10am - 3pm and all MAG&M Society members get a 10% discount.
