29.01.2022 Our W1s Acacia Insurance & Risk Services Captains Call has skipper Mikaela Turik naming 2 debutants with Claire Waddington getting rewarded for her recent good form with the ball and the recently returned Niamh Bullen also called into the side. An important game against Gordon as we continue to build momentum for a finals tilt #bleedblue

24.01.2022 Andrew Jamieson passed 100 wickets for the Waratahs last weekend in another Quest Manly Milestone. Joining us 4 years ago, Jamo has wasted no time in becoming a big part of the club and is hopefully looking towards 200 wickets. One of the great men #bleedblue

24.01.2022 More great results for the Manly Warringah Waratahs in our Quest Events Play in the Day with 1s and 2s well ontop in their 2 day clash and only 5th grades 1 wicket loss preventing a clean sweep in the other grades. 1s have already taken 1st innings points thanks to 4fa from both Steve O’Keefe Jake Carden, then a brilliant debut ton from Jack Edwards, well supported by Ben Bryant. An Isaiah Vumbaca 100 led the way for a big 2s total of 346, well supported by all our batsmen. 3...s and 4s both recorded dominating bonus point wins, Josh Seward the Star with 5fa in 3s, while Glynn Archer was again superb with the ball in 4s, well supported by Adam Gummer and Lachlan Charles with the bat. 5s snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. After having Mosman 9/86 chasing our 150, the last pair put on an outstanding partnership for Mosman to pass us with 2 balls to spare. Finally in W3s it was the Hough show with both Renee and Olivia staring with the bat, Olivia’s innings especially was a fine captains knock #bleedblue See more

24.01.2022 Jay Lenton hit his 9th century for the club today to become an Independent Portable Buildings Century Maker or 5 Wicket Taker. His 121 ball innings was the backbone of our 273 and was full of aggression. Well played son #bleedblue

23.01.2022 So good to see a debut club and 1st grade ton today from Jack Edwards to be an Independent Portable Buildings Century Maker or 5 Wicket Taker. He played with class and timing throughout his 119 ball stay and was in complete control throughout. Congrats Jacky #bleedblue

23.01.2022 18 players and members from the Styleness Manly Warringah Waratahs are participating in Movember this year, our highest ever number. Fantastic to see from our playing group. However it’s our club physio Simon Couch from Chiropractic Solutions who is currently out in front. Can anyone catch him? Our initial goal was $2,500 but with $1,400 already in the bank we may need to set our sites higher. Please do what you can to donate to this great cause, either to the group as a whole or to an individual, via the link below . God bless

23.01.2022 Oscar Lucius takes out our Harbord Diggers Play fo the Week for this fantastic one-handed grab in 4th grade on Saturday. Grahams is never an easy wicket to keep as you usually need to avoid the ball not bouncing in-front of you. But Lucius did what all keepers do and took the chance when it came #bleedblue

22.01.2022 M1s and W2s recorded convincing wins today as Green Shields season came to an end in our Quest Events Play in the Day. Chasing 280 for victory, skipper Jay Lenton led the way with a sensational for M1s, well supported by Ryan Farrell in an unbeaten 144 run 6th wicket stand. W2s momentum continued to roll on with an impressive 9 wicket victory over Penrith. Niamh Bullen and Charlotte Camburn ensuring an easy victory after more Mikaela Turik magic with the ball. Chloe Osborne... hit her first 50 of the season in a great batting display for Brewers, but we just couldn’t contain the Parramatta bats and the opposition won with plenty of overs left. Finally, Green Shield’s run came to an end in their elimination Quarter Final also against Penrith. We were probably 20 runs short in the end despite runs from Roop Dhillon and Josh Cooper, but the Panthers passed out total with 1.4 balls to spare and 4 wickets in hand #bleedblue See more

22.01.2022 The returning Michael-Scott Visser became an Independent Portable Buildings Century Maker or 5 Wicket Taker today with 5 of the best against North Sydney. Great to have him helping out the club after his retirement last year. Still got it #bleedblue

21.01.2022 Jay Lenton was a clear 4 Pines Brewing Company Men’s Player of the Week after his match winning hundred against Blacktown yesterday. His 10th hundred for the club in what was a brilliant innings that led directly to victory #bleedblue

20.01.2022 What a Captains knock from Jay Lenton today. 105* off 185 deliveries, his 2nd Independent Portable Buildings Century Maker or 5 Wicket Taker in a row. Coming to the crease at 1/49 and a good platform, Jay was nothing but patient, taking it upon himself to see his side home in an easy victory. The man is in form #bleedblue

20.01.2022 Congrats to Jake Hutchings who has been selected to make his Chiropractic Solutions Grade Debut tomorrow for the Waratahs. A local junior, Jake has had a fantastic start to the season with the bat and will do a great job for his team tomorrow. He was presented his cap by Club Captain Josh Wigney #bleedblue

20.01.2022 The Styleness Manly Warringah Waratahs have just achieved a huge milestone by ticking over to 10,000 Instagram followers, the first Premier Cricket Club in Australia to do so. Thanks to everyone for all your support, and of course for your follow #bleedblue

19.01.2022 4th grade nearly pulled off an improbable win on Saturday, falling one wicket short of defending 52. Some fantastic bowling, especially the ‘top of off’ from James Waddington with Lachie Kerr, Oscar Lucius, Glyn Archer and Andrew Boulton the supporting cast #bleedblue

18.01.2022 A big victory over Gordon on Saturday for our 2nd Grade Men's side as we take a 3 from 4 start to the season. Only a few wickets were captured by Styleness Wartah TV but some good cameos from Logan Weston, Matt Brewster and Sam Gainsford to get us to a 9 wicket victory #bleedblue

15.01.2022 Jordan Daly is a clear winner of our 4 Pines Brewing Company Player of the Week. He was nothing but class on Saturday as he hit 125 match winning runs, his 6th century for the club. Jordy really is building an impressive record with the bat and shows no signs of slowing down #bleedblue

15.01.2022 Happiest of birthdays to the one and only Cameron Merchant. With his 318 pre-Christmas runs, the birthday boy has now overtaken President Andrew Fraser to sit in 9th position in the clubs all-time leading run scorers. As you can see it’s not a far climb into the top 5. Can he do it? #bleedblue

15.01.2022 Our Bank of Queensland - BOQ Manly Captains Call has skipper Jay Lenton naming an unchanged lineup for for the top of the table 2 Day clash with Northern District Cricket Club starting tomorrow. Both teams have been in fantastic form, so it promises to be a classic encounter #bleedblue

14.01.2022 All in all a successful Quest Events Play in the Day with 4 from 6 wins against UTS North Sydney District Cricket Club. M1s were probably 20 below par with the bat despite a ton from Jay Lenton and 75 from Ben Bryant, but only Ryan Hadley with 3/39 had any great penetration with the ball. M2s continued their strong momentum with a comfortable win thanks to 50s from Jacob O’Sullivan and Ned Hole, then all the bowling doing the job. M3s got a bonus point win, Dom Wheeler contin...uing his good form with 63 and Lachie Trewartha and Mickey Counsell both picking up 3fa. M4s has a see-sawing clash, and only needed 28 from 22 with 5 wickets in hand, but. Puking finish it off. Half Century’s to Visser and Duly. M5s has a great bonus point win thanks to 52 from Evan Dunnachie and 5fa from Roop Dhillon. Finally W3s had a convincing win over the bears, 50s from Mia Nel and Renee Hough we’re fantastic, then Jess Kaye cleaned up the tail to take the figures #bleedblue See more

07.01.2022 Roop Dhillon. Remember the name. In becoming an Independent Portable Buildings Century Maker or 5 Wicket Taker today, he actually recorded his 3rd 5fa for the club at the ripe old age of 15. Leggies always take a while to develop and mature, but today he again showed he has all the skills #bleedblue

His moe produced special magical powers today as he spanked 114 runs in 2s today in a special innings. His innings was the base of a great batting performance from 2s... brilliant to see Izzy leading the way #bleedblue

03.01.2022 Congratulations to all of our local boys and girls who were last night presented with their Manly Warringah Junior Rep caps for the coming season at Grahams Reserve. The presentation was a little different to previous years, as 2020 has been, but a fantastic accomplishment non the less. Our 1st Grade skipper Jay Lenton was on hand to present the caps to all the players #bleedblue

03.01.2022 Josh Seward was a machine today, taking 5/20, including the first 5 wickets, off his 10 overs in 3rd grade to become an Independent Portable Buildings Century Maker or 5 Wicket Taker. He helped his 3rd Grade side to a big bonus point, 8 wicket victory today #bleedblue

We welcome all 3 to the club and look forward to their exploits during the season. They were presented their cap by skipper Olivia Hough #bleedblue

26.12.2021 The Globus Print Solutions Performance Player is Ellis Raymond. New to the club the big man has come to terms with grade cricket very nicely. Creating a name for himself as a man who hits big and goes hard . Pleasure to watch him go at it and 3’s will need him again as they charge towards finals. #bleedblue

06.12.2021 Waratah TV captured all 10 M1 wickets in last Saturday’s big win over Campbelltown. Once again it was Ryan Hadley and Greg West who ripped the heart out of the top order, with Elliot Herd and Jake Carden lending a helping hand to finish the job #bleedblue

05.09.2021 This weeks Men's 4 Pines Brewing Company Player of the Week is up and coming star and recent Green Shield graduate, Roopmehar Dhillon. Despite a tough loss yesterday against St George, just a few days earlier, Roop pulled together one of the clubs most successful and dominant performances in the club's long history. Roop started off the game opening the batting with an exceptional and classy 84. This in itself is worthy of winning this title, however, the young leg spinning ...prodigy went on to spin a web with a destructive 6/16. Those observing were in awe of such a dominant performance, and it is extremely positive to see such form leading into the pointy end of the grade season. After some digging, it appears that historically, only one other person has hit a 50 and taken 5+ wickets in a Green Shield match, which was club great Barry Rothwell in the 1953/1954 final. This is a pretty incredible achievement to match, with it taking nearly 70 years for a player to do so. Roop is a club favourite and one of the harder workers at Manly, and to see such outrageous performances from a young gun is promising signs for where the club is headed. Congrats Roop and Go Manly ! #bleedblue

24.08.2021 We got your back AB. Our Harbord Diggers Play of the Week from Saturday’s M1s victory #bleedblue
