22.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE This year’s @manlyfunrun is going virtual! The @manlyfunrun team have been closely monitoring developments around the COVID-19 crisis in recent weeks. Being a community event, we believe the safety of our community is the number one priority. We are still determined to support our charity partners. Entry fees have been reduced to $15 with 100% going to charity.... We encourage all runners to get registering and complete their 2k, 5k or 10k run either on their own, or in groups of 20 or less in accordance with NSW Government guidelines. 05.01.2022 @manlyfunrun 5km and 10km courses are now available on @strava - swipe left Segment links available within the Facebook event details

05.01.2022 Important update for 5km and 10km runners. With the weather cooperating, Manly's North Head will now have back burning occurring over the weekend. This directly impacts the original 10km course, with North Head closed past Q Station. You now cannot run this route.... For the virtual event you can run any 10km route, and do not need to follow this course, simply finish a 10km of your choosing. One option is to do the 5km course and continue along the beach front and to the end of the Queenscliff lagoon path to where it meets Pittwater Rd, and back to the Manly Surf Club. The 5km route is not impacted, though any runners suffering from asthma or any other respiratory illnesses should consider an alternate route. Please remember that COVID restrictions are in place, and remember to not run in groups of greater than 20. Have a great weekend everyone The Manly Fun Run Team
