18.01.2022 We are putting out an urgent call for your help! A loved member of our Northern Beaches community, father and friend of the Manly Surf School was diagnosed only a few months ago with a rare and aggressive form of lymphoma. He urgently needs a bone marrow transplant to help his immune system fight an infection. On Saturday 28th November between 7am-12pm at Manly Surf Club we will be on the search to find him a match and we need your help!... All it requires is a quick cheek swab. If you are matched with a patient in need, 90% of the time donating stem cells is like giving blood. You can even read a book or watch TV during the donation and return to normal activities afterwards! Your body also replenishes its own blood stem cells so you don’t lose them forever after you donate. The whole process is quite simple and can save a life! To be a donor you must be aged between 18-35 years, hold a current medicare card and not eat, drink or smoke for 1 hour before doing the swab. 08.01.2022 October Women’s Surf Coaching and Fitness Program 2020. Ages 18 to 80 years . Intermediate.... I to Nazare this year to surf a big swell. I had the pleasure to surf and watch some of the women charge on the big days @maya (pictured here) @polvo32 and @justinedupont33 drawing beautiful lines on massive waves. We are running a month surf program in October. (October 3rd 10 am to 12pm) for intermediate Women 18 years to 90 years on surfing technique( with photography and video analysis) , 4 weeks of unlimited surf fitness classes and breathhold training .
