08.01.2022 We would like to inform all parents and carers that we are suspending playgroup at Manly Vale for the duration of term 1. This is in line with recommendations from Playgroup NSW, and believe it to be the best course of action to minimise risks associated with COVID - 19. As Playgroups get underway for 2020, we understand that you may have some concerns around how Playgroup NSW is managing the current Novel Coronavirus situation and the potential implications for you and your children. Playgroup NSW will be following the recommendations of the NSW Department of Health and Education, specifically as they apply to Early Childhood Education. We ask that you assist us in the following ways: 1. Please DO NOT attend playgroup if you or your child/ren have been in China over the past 14 days as the Coronavirus' incubation period can be as long as two weeks. The exclusion period is as follows: confirmed case of novel Coronavirus - exclusion will remain in place until medically cleared to returnclose contact of a confirmed case of novel Coronavirus - exclude for 14 days since last contact with the confirmed case. 06.01.2022 Playgroup update: I know alot of you have been wondering what is happening with playgroup so here's the latest. Plans are underway and we are awaiting a date from Playgroup NSW to reopen soon.... Im not sure what that will look like yet. I presume there will be conditions of entry. So we will see.. ....TBA.
