21.01.2022 Last night we were blessed by a group of Year 9 and 10 students who dropped by and handed out hamper bags to everyone. It was so wonderful to see the love and care they had to take the time to plan, prepare and pack items for those in need. Thank you all so much for coming. 21.01.2022 Due to current restrictions we are unable to serve a sit down meal. So take away it is. Chicken casserole, rice, salad and cup cakes. Really hope this doesn’t last for too long.

14.01.2022 That’s a wrap for 2020 We wrapped up an interesting yet amazing year by holding our annual Christmas Dinner. A great night had by all. A massive thank you to @la Porchetta Rowville for their gracious donation of food. Thank you to all our volunteers, friends, and partners. We look forward to resuming 2021 on the 12th of January. Until then, the Manna4life team wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and a safe and prosperous New Year.

08.01.2022 We are sorry to announce, Maxwell Graham Walker peacefully passed away yesterday 4/12/19, he was 83. He served as Cornerstone CEO for over 22 years. He was inst...rumental in creating what our present Cornerstone looks like as an organisation. Doing a great deal of work with Dandenong Council, by engaging them with local charities to help with our vulnerable and homeless in the area. See more

07.01.2022 ***IMPORTANT MESSAGE*** Regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) Manna4life is dedicated to continue to provide a service to all people who regularly attend our free meal service in Doveton and Kensington. ... However, having regard to the current environment and health warnings, we will change our service to ensure the health and well-being of everyone. Effective from tonight, all sit down meal services will not go ahead, until further notice. In response to this, We will be handing out pre-packed hot meals at our sites for people to take away. Details of our sites are found at www.manna4life.org.au We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience, however we consider the safety of everyone paramount. We will continue to update you on changes to our service and look forward to resuming our sit down meal service in the near future. Peace and Blessings to all.

To make the night even more memorable, we are delighted to announce that Madison Marcus have launched a Community Partnership and collaboration with our organisation. Here is what Madison Marcus had to say..... ... In what has become a Madison Marcus tradition, we also used the occasion to launch a new community partnership. Our Group Managing Director Bechara Shamieh was delighted to announce Madison Marcus’ collaboration with Manna 4 Life a charity which was established to help underprivileged people and communities of any background or of any age in Melbourne. We were fortunate enough to hear from its CEO, Michael Chris Gallie about the life saving work that Manna 4 Life does the for anyone in need in Melbourne’s South- East and Inner North. Since its first night of operation in June 2012, Manna 4 Life has: Served approximately 20,280 meals Celebrated 6 Christmas Dinners, and Handed out over 360 Christmas Hampers. Madison Marcus is humbled to have the chance to support the work of Manna 4 Life and thank the 60 volunteers who selflessly devote their time to the cause, from preparing the meals or assisting in the staffing of the drop in centres. We are looking forward to more inspirational stories of those whose lives have been made easier, even for an hour, by the work of Manna 4 Life. Madison Marcusis committed to helping this wonderful charity help more members of the community in need, both in Melbourne and around the country. We are truly humbled by their generous support and thank Madison Marcus immensely and we look forward to future possibilities to help those in need.

The occasion was even more special as one of our much loved volunteers, Wilson, celebrated his 69th Birthday. We wish Wilson a very Happy Birthday and likewise wish our Manna4life family a Happy 6th Anniversary.
