23.01.2022 Hi everyone, We'd like to invite you to attend our National program trials this October! Please see the info below! Whilst we're aware it's short notice, please put an expression of interest forward to us, should you or your child not be able to attend either trial.... This is an OPEN trial, so anyone can attend. A little background about the Futsal Nationals program. The Australian Futsal Association(AFA) Nationals are held in Sydney each year, with the 2021 Junior tournament on 9th-12th of January 2021 and 16 boys to open mens, youth girls and open women on 14-17th of January 2021 ( https://www.facebook.com/nationalclubfutsalchamps ). This tournament is a chance for our players to develop their skills and test themselves against players from all over Australia and often New Zealand too. Attendance of the Futsal Nationals also gives the players the opportunity to be selected for higher honours. We often have players selected for international tours from this tournament. Costs: Each player will be given a kit and specialised training leading up to the tournament. Manning Futsal is not interested in making a profit from this event, we see this as a development opportunity and we try our best to keep costs down. We have worked this to be $500 per player selected. Should the tournament be cancelled due to COVID government rules or Manning Futsal pulling out of competing, costs will be reduced to $350. This will cover kit costs that players will keep, as well as court hire for training. Additionally we will seek out a regionally based state league competition in 2021 should nationals be cancelled. One of the biggest advantages your child has is that Manning Futsal is an associate member AFA, which means we get to send our own teams. This means there is a strong opportunity to gain selection in our squads. So please don’t think that it is not worthwhile your child or yourself trying out.

Please take the time to read and familiarise yourself with our Safe Practice guide which we all need to abide by and which will be enforced at the stadium. Also take special note of the spectator rule. If you have any questions or concerns please see the bio security officer/s wearing high vis vests. We appreciate your cooperation with these guidelines and good luck to all teams!... ** ARRIVE - PLAY - LEAVE ** ~ 20 ppl per court ( this includes players and officials ) is our max so spectators are asked to stay home. We will refuse entry to spectators if we are at capacity. ~ One spectator per child for junior comp ~ Use designated entry and exit points ~ Arrive ready to play as change rooms are closed, sign the attendance register and wait in the designated canteen waiting area ~ Use hand sanitiser upon entry and during your game and practice social distancing ( 1.5m ) at all times ~ No personal balls in the stadium ~ Leave the stadium as soon as your game has finished

19.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Thank you all for patiently waiting for summer comp info, we have already been inundated with questions in the last few weeks and now we can answer them. Our summer comp registration is officially open!... Summer comp kicks off October 14th and team nominations close October 5th. All our info can be found easily on our website in descriptions and on our registration form and team nomination forms. So have a read of both. This includes the costs associated as well as the days and locations of each age group. Age group days and location listings are in the team nomination form when you scroll through it. Some interesting facts: - Did you know the Futsal is the largest one location sport in the Manning Valley? - Did you know that the annual rental bill paid by Manning Futsal is expected to be in the order of $90,000 in the next 12 months? - Did you know that your registration fee covers a full 12 months (September 1st 2020 until August 31st 2021) providing access to our summer and winter competition.

19.01.2022 Looking for something fun for the kids during the holidays? Interested in futsal but not sure whether the kids will enjoy it? Come try our holiday clinic. Wednesday the 7th of October, 9am until 3pm,... OR Thursday the 8th of October, 9am until 3pm. Free BBQ lunch for all kids with water or juice popper. It will also include a morning tea and afternoon break for kids to enjoy their own snacks. Kids do not need to be supervised by parents during the day. Total cost is $65 per player (includes GST) and $55 per additional child in the family registered. OR $115 for both days (includes GST) and $100 per additional child in the family for both days. 11.01.2022 To all Manning Futsal Players and Parents. The Board of Manning Futsal has this afternoon determined to suspend all Futsal activities due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 Virus. As a sporting body we need to do our part to slow the spread of this virus.... Manning Futsal does not take this decision lightly. However, after weighing up all of the information available to us, we believe that it is in the best interest of all to suspend our activities. What does this mean for the summer competition? We will not be able to complete our summer competition this year. Luckily most competitions have come to the end of the normal season. The winners will be the team on the top of the ladder. We do understand that a few competitions had one round to go, but unfortunately this will not be able to be played. What does this mean for the next winter competition? At this stage we intend to proceed with our Winter Competition. The situation is however fluid and the situation will continue to be assessed in the coming weeks and months. What does this mean for the Academy? Academy will also be suspended until further notice. We will ensure a credit to the next academy is made available to you. We understand that many of you would like to continue to play, most of the board are futsal players and want to play too. But the community safety must come first. We thank you for your understanding in this matter.

We are running for approximately 16-18 rounds (plus finals) from the middle of October, breaking over christmas and wrapping up at the end of March. All info can be found on our website: manningfutsal.com... For those who haven’t found the team nomination form that lists all playing days, we have: Monday’s, 6-8’s at the indoor cricket centre/inflatable world. Wednesday’s, 9/10’s and 11/12’s in the juniors, and our 3 grades of men’s comp that evening at the basketball stadium. Thursday’s, will feature only our ladies comp in the evenings at the basketball stadium. Friday’s, 13/14’s and 15/16’s in the juniors, and our open mixed competitions in the evenings at the basketball stadium.

09.01.2022 Hi everyone, Unfortunately Manning Futsal has been forced to postpone the commencement of our summer comp by one week. We have made this tough decision due to Winter sport going longer than usual, as well as the effects of COVID. This will mean our kick off night will be the week of Wednesday the 21st of October. So what does this mean?... We are extending team nominations until Wednesday the 14th to allow more teams to join our competitions. We are holding two info/registration nights at the stadium on Thursday the 8th and Thursday the 15th, from 4pm until 7pm. Our idea is to assist anyone having trouble registering teams or their individual registrations. To clarify, those who haven't submitted their teams, please do so asap to confirm your spot. If you don't have a team and are seeking one, contact us asap so we can help seek a team for you or possibly match you with other players seeking a team and therefore can create a new team.

06.01.2022 Hi everyone, Manning Futsal are excited to announce registrations open for term 1 of our fantastic junior futsal academy. Our academy offers a great opportunity for kids to learn some extra skills with futsal, and improve their overall game. It also includes a lot of the futsal fundamentals that not a lot of our kids in the area know.... Our academy accepts all kids aged 5 till 15. This is also the perfect opportunity to join our 8 week academy with finals commencing in little over 4 weeks time. So this will sharpen their skills right before finals commence. Starts next week, Monday 10th, 4 till 5:30pm: 12 - 15 years Tuesday 11th, 4 till 5:30pm: 10 - 13 years Friday 14th, 4 till 5:30pm : 5 - 9 years Spaces will fill up fast, so be sure to not miss out. 03.01.2022 Hi everyone, Exciting times as Winter competition nominations are now open! We do have limited time available with access to Saxby's stadium as well as the usual Friday Winter time clash with outdoor soccer ladies comp.... However, Wednesday is scheduled to be a busy night during our Winter comp. We were also lucky enough to gain access to Saxby's stadium on Thursday nights for the ladies comp. All age and competition nights can be found on the team nomination form. Due to Covid restrictions, we will have to make a few changes to game times. So please secure your team spot quickly, to avoid missing out on playing in our Winter comp. We will update closer to the comp, for what restrictions will be in place on people numbers that are allowed inside the stadium at one time. We are hoping these numbers will increase in July. And lastly, all summer comp players are already registered with Manning Futsal and do NOT need to fill in the registration form again or make any payments.
