04.01.2022 MC2T is thrilled to be bringing this multi-agency workshop to some of our most impacted communities. Do you know someone who was bushfire impacted? If so, tag t...hem below and see if this workshop could help them in their recovery. Throughout the day we will be hearing about what can be done during recovery in order to increase our resilience to future climatic changes. The issues we will be exploring include: - Climate change impacts for the Mid Coast - Water quality management - Managed Grazing - Soil health post-drought and bushfire - Erosion control - Landscape Rehydration - Property Bushfire preparedness - Weed management post-fire - Value of biodiversity on property Throughout the day, attendees will be identifying ideas for recovery of their own property, developing an action plan. Through the sharing of these with community and MC2T, we will aid in sourcing the resources, funding and support to start the process of increasing our resilience to future extremes. Mid Coast 2 Tops is thrilled to be working with MidCoast Council, Hunter Local Land Services and DPIE to bring these workshops to our community.

04.01.2022 We always love hearing positive things from workshops our locals have attended, it just warms our heart knowing we are doing something right! Thankyou Sandra fo...r taking & sharing these pics with us, we love to see all the making in action! Steve from Dollys Flat Studio always brings genuine warmth, fun and a huge expanse of knowledge to the table...quite literally! Working with clay can be meditative, thoughtful and spontaneous. Everyone who attends says how much they enjoy it. We want to give special thanks to Steve & Deb for all their hard work this year. They provided us all with handmade clay, a studio to work in, the teaching of wisdoms and opened their home to the wider community. There is alot of work that goes on behind the scenes after a piece of pottery is made and left to dry. As attendees leave the studio they might not know that it takes weeks for that piece of clay to dry out enough before it can be fired in the kiln. It can be in the woodfire kiln for upto a week being fired! Then the cool down process begins...not to mention sorting and packing! At the end of the day the result are beautiful forms, stunning pieces that tell a story. Steve's time, labour & love is behind all of that. So THANKYOU from all of us here at MidCoastRenewalCommittee to #dollysflatstudio - let's keep doing the fun stuff together :) See more

01.01.2022 This great program is being offered across the Midcoast. John Harper’s philosophy is that mates care about you and enjoy your friendship in the good times and true mates care about you, and support you in the bad times. Book now!
