25.01.2022 Playing "raid the nest" with beanbags, then outside for a sausage sizzle. Thank you to all our wonderful youth members, leaders, helpers and families. It's been a crazy year but we made it. Stay safe over the holidays and we will see you next year

23.01.2022 Grampians Retreat - our last night in camp . After a great party dinner we had celebration speeches and everyone received a certificate and the "Royal Order of the Cave Bat" award (made specially for us by Grant's daughter).

21.01.2022 Dinner with Mt Gambier Scout Group tonight . Koala and her team did an awesome job looking after us. And Nathan did great circus and juggling, sharing his skills with those who wanted to try. A wonderful scouting and sharing night .

20.01.2022 A visit to the Australian Kelpie Centre at Casterton. We had a great visit with the kelpies and their humans. Thanks to Councillor Karen for helping.

19.01.2022 Elias was on flag duty tonight with James. We played a compass memory game with our visitors from Manningham Venturers. Plus a chalk trail puzzle outside around the streets - the answer after all the letters were found was BADEN POWELL .

11.01.2022 Making animal watering stations for bushfire relief. Everyone pitched in and helped. Thanks to Reece plumbing supplies at Diamond Creek for donating the pipes, fittings and glue.

10.01.2022 A very special presentation was made to Conroy last night - he achieved 100 nights camping with our Group during the trip. Here is Conroy being presented with his certificate and the Perpetual Honour Board with his name inscribed. Alex is making a speech about the great work Conroy has done during the trip and how he's been a great friend to everyone. Thank you Conroy - We really could not have done this trip without your help.

AND we sang happy birthday to ourselves as our Scout Group turns 88 this month . Great dips and vege sticks prepared by the Rovers with Linda. Went well with chocolate cake and donuts .
