18.01.2022 On this day 2016, the last Coal trained passed through Parachilna to Pt Augusta. A light in the distance and they’d call train on, e...verybody would leave the bar at the Prairie Hotel and head over to the track to watch the train go through, then back to the pub, great days. I wrote a song called The Coal Train on my Under A Parachilna Sunset album remembering some of those days. Looking forward to getting back to Parachilna and the Prairie Hotel.
