19.01.2022 To say that we are experiencing "interesting times" is a gross understatement. What we are all going through at the moment has probably been the biggest "interesting times" I've experienced in my lifetime and I dare say that holds true for the vast majority of us. Most of us have experienced many significant World events, 9/11 and the GFC being the most recent. These events have taught me a number of valuable lessons including:... 1. This will pass and life will return to some form of normality, albeit probably a new norm; 2. We have and will continue to learn a lot about ourselves and our fellow citizens (no need to mention toilet paper, but I did), 3. It's easy to be distracted from our day to day lives and our businesses and hard to focus on what we need to do to keep operating, 4. However, in times like these, recovery will occur and great opportunities await those that utilise this period to strengthen their business and prepare for the return, 5.
