20.01.2022 Hello All and Everyone who has supported and loved attending the Hotel Mannum Open Mic. Jamie and I decided a week ago that we will be cancelling the Open Mic u...ntil further notice. Whilst we are not actual employees of the Mannum Hotel, we do work there once a month and we feel we have to follow protocols, policies and procedures that all work places should, particularly at this time. For us it is a moral thing, our open mic may not attract 500 people or 100 people but the sharing of microphones is an issue. Beachy and Linda are in support of this. We, as all artists who are having to cancel performances and sessions feel very sad about this but it is the most proactive thing we can do. This page will remain open and we will be back. In the mean time we thought it would be a great idea if people sent their home videos through to our page or we will share them with your permission, perhaps we can keep our musical family circulating through the online pages. 19.01.2022 If everyone may remember we held a fundraiser at our last open mic to raise money for wildlife victims of the bushfires. It was a fairly spontaneous idea and 5 days to organise. So many locals and supporters of the Hotel Mannum Open Mic opened their hearts and gave on the day. We had a fantastic Auction, Jamie modeled the produce made by locals, Angie kept track and Henry was the auctioneer. Coralie , Jamie and myself were overwhelmed, it was an amazing day. Last wednesday we delivered $1177.90 to Native Animal Network of South Australia, we know for absolute certain that 100% of the money we all contributed will go to the animals. We took some photos whilst we were there to remember the contribution the people of the Mannum Hotel and Open Mic made. Thanks for the big hearts.

09.01.2022 Another friend who is musically isolating, Paul Gilgen another member of Riverland royalty, hasn't been to our Open Mic physically but he is included through the modern world.
