23.01.2022 Copied from altona residents page Warning Scam alert. I just received a phone call on my landline pretending to be from "Do Not Call register". They said my subscription to this had expired and that was why I was receiving nuisance calls. They had details of my address, phone number and who the nuisance calls were from. I was then passed over to a 'supervisor" who asked for details of the credit card I used to pay my telephone bills. When I refused to give it to him he said I could not be registered on Do Not Call I replied that's fine and hung up. I then called the Do Not Call register who confirmed this as a scam and will check it out further. So BEWARE! of low lifes
