25.01.2022 Daddy has a couple of days off Yesterday we went to the RAAF Museum in Point Cook. I took absolutely no photos but it was absolutely amazing and I would 100% recommend anyone in Melbourne to go. Today we are off to the Queen Vic markets (at this point anyway), I’m excited for a jam donut.

21.01.2022 Bus adventures today!

19.01.2022 Saturday night with the Manos!

17.01.2022 Holy wow! Haven’t we had a big few weeks! Our last camp was at Lucky Bay just below Kalbarri, was a great beach camp and we thought we’d stay up to a week, it was only $15 per night and had some pretty great drop toilets! However day/night 4 rolls around and so do the big black clouds so after a wild, wet and windy night we decided to pack up (in the on and off again rain) and head to we didn’t know where. While fueling up and checking weather forecasts in Geraldton we ma...de the decision to head to Perth. I was a bit excited cause it meant I was going to have a friend, who was a GIRL the amazing Simmo’s welcomed us into their home, was the first night not in a camp in 3 months. This however didn’t come before stopping for roadside wee and finding one of the trailer tyres completely shredded! While in Perth Mark looked into a few work options as we knew our $$& was going to come to and end sooner rather than later nothing was happening in WA that was going to work for us, and then came the call that was the game changer how soon could we be in Melbourne?! A day of getting organised (Bentley had a tooth pulled, and Mark had a medical and I got some groceries) and off we went. 3 days from Perth to Horsham (because we couldn’t get into Melbourne and it was GRANDFINAL day). So here we are, sitting in the Discovery Parks trying to be quiet cause Daddy is trying to sleep off night shift. I’m loving being back in Melbourne and this park might be super expensive, but it’s also in a great location and has all the ‘things’ to keep the boys occupied. So our adventures have been put on hold while we build the travel fund back up, but it won’t be long till we’re back on the road making new memories. Manos Out x

15.01.2022 We got a surprise email today for Maddox! We are beyond proud of how well all the kids are doing with Katherine School of the Air. Some days may be tougher than others, but I can’t imagine being back in mainstream for a while yet!

09.01.2022 It’s been a long old time since I’ve posted here. So much has been going on too! I’ll get my shit together and do a few updates from Christmas onwards. Today we are chasing waves, and enjoying the sun cause I don’t think it’ll be warm for much longer. Manos Out

07.01.2022 So not sure if this is something that is already around and I’m just way behind. If so, please point me in the right direction!!! But.... We are currently in in Melbourne, my husband has picked up a great work contract, that will see us through the winter here. Which, as we all probably know isn’t ideal in a camper trailer with 4 kids! It’s definitely do-able though.... Anyway, I was just in the shower where I do my best thinking and thought, most Victorian’s we met while travelling down the west coast are actually escaping the cold for 3-6 months. So, what do they do with their houses and furniture? Put it all in storage and rent the house? Close up the doors with everything in it? Or sell because the mortgage and bills that go with it are too much? Maybe even Airbnb. Would you (obviously not just Victoria) open your doors and rent your furnished house to fellow travellers that have picked up work in your area short term or long term, depending on your travel itineraries? I think this could be of benefit to both travellers. Yes you can rent furnished properties through a real estate, but most of the leases are minimum 6 months. And that sometimes is just too long for a work contract. And holiday rentals can be so expensive. House sitting is also an option, but to help our fellow travellers with bills, getting an extra $450 a week can be massive. Anyway, let me know what you think, or if there is somewhere that already has this sorted.

04.01.2022 Something VERY exciting happened today....

03.01.2022 Shark Bay Not really overt rapt in the place! We stayed in Denham at Denham Seaside Caravan Park which was really lovely, but after our TAWK pass 2 nights free for kids ran out and it was going to cost $78 per night it wasn’t THAT lovely ... We did a day trip into Cape Peron NP and I caught my first fish (was totally massive ). It was nice, but I dunno, I wasn’t wetting my pants over it. The glorious wind probably didn’t help the situation, but eh, I won’t be rushing back. We planned to head to Murchison Home Station but we’ve been having issues with our 2nd battery in the car which runs the freezer, so decided to b-line for Geraldton. Which is where I am now sat, in one of those weird ‘permanent’ caravan parks. The kids are feral from being in the car all day and I’m 100% over it! Nothing a few delicious beverages won’t fix though. Till next time Facebook

03.01.2022 Queen Victoria Market you absolutely never disappoint!!!
