25.01.2022 With many people seeking assistance from Centrelink, we have seen hundreds lining up at their offices. PLEASE NOTE you are able to apply for a customer reference number over the phone and your application can be lodged electronically. Please see below the information taken from the Centrelink site regarding ID requirements!... What are common documents to confirm identity You need to give us these original documents to confirm your identity: 1 Commencement document to confirm your birth or arrival in Australia 1 Primary document to show the use of your identity in the community 1 Secondary document to show the use of your identity in the community. At least 1 of these documents must have a photo of you on it. The documents must show the same name as your claim. If you cant do this, you need to give evidence youve changed your name. We cant accept: copies or certified copies expired documents, except an expired Australian Passport for up to 3 years from the expiry date Australia Post Keypass identity card the same document twice. Lastly be patient as call times are long and the site has also been inundated.

To help put our relationship with AMP into perspective its important to understand that we are only licensed through AMP Financial Planning. Mansell Financial Services, as an entity, acts completely independently and have nothing to do with their corporate practices as a publicly listed company and were as shocked and disappointed, as Im sure you were, when we heard the extent of the poor and inappropriate behaviour. In relation to products that may be held with AMP as the provider (such as Superannuation, Pension and Investment platforms), it is important to understand that these products are held in trust structures and not directly by AMP. While each clients portfolio is different, many clients super, pension and investment products are invested in a broad range of assets, for example property, Australian shares, and international shares. By diversifying the investments in this way, clients are able to mitigate organisational and market risks. Investment performance is largely driven by the performance of the investments held within your portfolio. The fall in price of AMP Shares would only dramatically impact you if the majority of your asset was invested in AMP Shares as opposed to a broad range of assets. 21.01.2022 Please find attached an update from Shane Oliver in relation to the effects that the Coronavirus is having on Markets. Key points - Share markets have fallen sharply over the last week or so on the back of coronavirus concerns.... - Shares may still have more downside and the uncertainty around the coronavirus crisis is very high, but we are of the view that its just another correction. - Key things for investors to bear in mind are that: corrections are normal; in the absence of recession, a deep bear market is unlikely; selling shares after a fall locks in a loss; share pullbacks provide opportunities for investors to buy them more cheaply; while shares may have fallen, dividends are smoother; and finally, to avoid getting thrown off a long-term investment strategy its best to turn down the noise during times like this.

18.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE In summary, we are business as usual with modifications to face to face contact. The purpose of this communication is to inform you that due to COVID-19 we are closing the office until further notice. However, it is important to note that the services that Mansell Financial Services provide will not be significantly impacted. We all have the ability to work remotely, our office phones have been diverted directly to Sharons mobile and therefore we can still... answer your calls. However, please be patient in this regard, Sharon will only be able to take one call at a time and also may need to have another member of staff member return your call. If your Annual Review is due during this time we will be in contact with you directly to make appropriate arrangements. We will still have the ability to conduct meetings, they may just need to be Telephone based or Video Conference based (i.e. Skype). The only material disadvantage we foresee is a lack of access to our high speed internet, we are still able to print and scan documents however we will either be relying on Australia Post to deliver these to you or may need your assistance to print documents if they are required urgently. There will be no change to our Centrelink Service, if in the event we need you to provide documents that need to be supplied Rachel will liaise directly with you to ensure that this is completed for you. 09.01.2022 Major announcement here we go. We are acquiring an existing practice in the Barossa Valley and will be operational from the 2nd May. This is an exciting opportunity for us and our clients. ... Prior to joining AMP Horizons in 2012 Rhonda was employed in this practice and now has the opportunity to purchase it. The existing staff (Debbie, Alan and Brett) within the business will continue to work with us and are looking forward to a period regeneration and growth. 09.01.2022 Rhonda and Geoff had the privilege of representing Mansell Financial Services at the AMP State Awards Dinner last Friday evening where Rhonda was awarded New Adviser of the Year for 2015 SA/NT and the Practice picked up a National Blue Award and was also Runner Up for the New Practice of the Year for 2015 SA/NT. The night was held at the magnificent Cathedral Room at the Adelaide Oval. Thank you to our amazing staff for providing magnificent service to our clients.

Red Nose Australia is dedicated to saving the lives of babies and children through pregnancy, birth, infancy and childhood and supporting those families who have suffered the unimaginable.
