25.01.2022 Hello from Hand Crafted Rocking Horses made in Perth WA. I believe my horses are the best value for money you can buy. Will take adult weight, strong and sturdy.... Child will never outgrow them. Horses come with a built in time capsule making it a true heirloom. I make them from renewable furniture grade pine, just gorgeous wood. I have a few video's on my page showing this lovely wood. Horses pictured are $2500. $500 deposit to lock order in. All horses come with a brass time capsule in the belly making it a true heirloom to pass down through the family. You can design your own horse colours, I also replicate a loved horse you may have or has passed from photo's so it can live forever. 25.01.2022 So posting these pics to show how bad trailer registration is in Victoria / Australia really I guess. This trailer snapped its drawbar in a roundabout in Mansfield, luckily no one was on the footpath where it crossed on its path after leaving the tow vehicle. The police didnt seem to show much interest it landed about 200m from the cop shop. This trailer was defective in so many ways just from a quick look. But it had a relative new looking rego plate. It was built in South Australia a long time ago and the size and intended use say it could not comply with its compliance plate, but it is on the road just waiting to maybe kill someone. Imagine if that drawbar broke at 100kmh on the highway and went head on into another car.

But in some ways this is the ideal time to look at getting your float serviced, work has dried up, I have some work to continue with but there has been no phone calls for over 2 weeks. If everyone holds off to the end of the isolation then I would never be able to cope with all the work. If you would like to have your float serviced over the next couple of months please contact me, if needed I will arrange to come and pick up if that helps, local only. 23.01.2022 Hello everyone, I have these wonderful Australian made Easylift jockey wheels on special until the end of December. These are the best swing up jockey wheel on the market. If you have a tired old jockey wheel on your float or trailer, consider upgrading to one of these. Jockey wheel and 2 u-bolts to suit your drawbar $85.00 if you require it to be fitted and old jockey wheel cut off, $125.00 . This is mostly suited to Mansfield customers, but feel free to contact me if you would like one posted out.

22.01.2022 Today should have been the opening of the Burghley Horse Trials. With nothing to watch on the livestream, instead were looking back at Murray & Ninjas advent...ures at Burghley. Here they are flying over notorious rider frightener, the Cottesmore Leap, on their way to a clear xc. This fence is so wide you can park a Land Rover inside it & would definitely make most of us wet our pants! Ninja (Under the Clocks) was bought off the track by Jade, and trained by Murray. What an incredible horse. See more

18.01.2022 This post is not directed at my Float people as most of your weight problems would be the opposite to this, that is too much weight on the tow ball. But it is an interesting video for anyone towing a caravan or trailer. Towball weight scales are very cheap, and a good way to check where your weight is on the trailer caravan horse float etc. So as has been put in an article in Horse Deals that I did awhile ago, the suggested weight on the towball is 10 - 15% of gross trailer mass. So if you think you have 2000kg, 200 - 300kg should be on the tow bar. If you have any questions feel free to send questions. I just wanted to share this for everyone to see.

I have made an enquiry to Trigg Bros in South Australia, to see if I can purchase direct from them to increase my Australian made content on my Floats & trailers. Trigg make the best trailer couplings on the market, this has been proved on a couple of accidents I have seen through my time maintaining trailers. They also produce hubdrums and hubs so hopefully I will be able to hold stock of these to give people in country Victoria the chance to buy Aussie made trailer parts.

11.01.2022 So the same customer who recycled an old float for a training item, also bought this old Coke A Cola truck body and turned it into a very handy tack room and feed shed. Great recycling going on up here in the high country.

This one has been done in a Subaru colour that the customer picked. It looks stunning, will start putting it all together tomorrow.

09.01.2022 I quizzed a new camper mob advertising on Facebook, seems a new cheap country is South Africa. They say they import from South Africa and do all ADRs when the...y get to Australia. I can tell you that nothing under 4.5 tonnes gets any checks done on it. If you can build in South Africa and import cheaper than making here something is wrong. I just hope people ask the question when they like these shiny fuzzy camper companies online. If they being built that cheap guess what you dont want to be towing it. See more

01.01.2022 Hello all, watching an old Clint Eastwood western tonight. Hang em High. And it brought to my attention the contribution the mighty horse made to the early days of Hollywood. Some absolutely beautiful horses in the movie, and all so well trained. With the amount of westerns made there would have been thousands of horses ready for use at any stage. Another one to add to this, years ago I got to meet a Canadian rodeo rider, who rated The Man From Snowy River the best horse movie of all time. Thats it for tonight, just thought lots of my followers would agree with those thoughts.
