21.01.2022 Dear Mansfield Community, Whilst it is pleasing that there are no active cases of COVID-19 in Mansfield that we are aware of, in response to the escalation of ...cases across Victoria, and in particular the increased number in hospitals and aged care facilities we have implemented a number of changes. VISITING HOSPITAL: 1 Patients in the hospital are limited to 2 visitors a day who may visit for a maximum of 30 minutes. Patients in shared rooms are limited to 1 visitor each at any one time. 2 Visiting hours are from 12 midday to 6:30pm. 3 All visitors will be screened and temperature checked upon entry. Based on the screening some visitors may be denied access. 4 All visitors are to provide contact details to allow for contact tracing should the need arise. 5 All visitors are to wear a face mask which is supplied. This mask is to be worn for the duration of the visit and disposed of in the appropriate receptacle upon leaving the building. 6 Visitors are to undertake hand hygiene upon entry to the facility and when they leave the patient's room. 7 Visitors are to remain in patient rooms for the duration of their visit. 8 People attending for an X-Ray, ultrasound or community health appointment will be required to wear a mask unless their clinician approves its removal. 9 All people are required to adhere to physical distancing measures of 1.5 metres. 10 Disrespectful behaviour towards our staff will not be accepted. Please remember they are only doing what is required. We acknowledge the inconvenience this may cause but the safety of our patients, staff and community is not negotiable. Information for visiting Buckland House and Bindaree will be provided in a separate post.

19.01.2022 We've had a big blow & the most horrific thing happen to us in the late Pm of Sunday night & early Am Monday morning. We had a person/persons enter our yard an...d set some vehicles on fire, we lost one truck, possibly 2 and our little town van received a few burns here & there. If anyone seen anything or anyone hanging around our yard during this time or even near by & you thought it was strange please either ring Crime stoppers or Benalla Crime Unit. Even if you've overheard a whisper or someone talking about it ,please act on it. A big thank you to our local Cfa for doing the best you could.I need your help if you know of any little detail please. Regards Cassy See more

17.01.2022 Well to say we have an interesting time over the last week and a half is an understatement. All Staff have now or will by Tomorrow received 2 Covid Tests and wh...ilst we chose to close until all tests were finalised we also will be undertaking full a Covid clean as per DHHS guidelines. So come Saturday we will be able to Open with the knowledge that we are Completley Safe for all our Locals to visit. Opening hours will be posted later this week and we will again be offering Delivery and Take Away as well as Convenience Items, Takeaway Alcohol and anything else you may need. Parma Wednesday’s and Pizza Friday’s will be operating with both Pick Up and Delivery available. Both Michael and Myself as well as the Merrijig Team would like to thank everyone that has supported us through this trying time and wish all the people concerned a speedy recovery. Special mention to the guys at the Mansfield Hospital who have worked very hard to assist with all the inconsistent information provided and advised. Hope to see you Saturday

07.01.2022 To all our customers . It is with a heavy heart that I announce our trading hours during this difficult period. Tuesday 4pm to 6pm - takeaway drinks and ice wil...l be available at the bar and also the ability for you to collect your mail. Friday and Saturday 5pm to 8pm - we will be doing takeaway meals. Cooked steak is not available. All meals will come with chips and salad (pasta the exception). Takeaway drinks, ice and mail collection will be available. If you can call ahead with your order it would be greatly appreciated as we cannot have more that 8 people in the public bar area waiting . All outside gatherings at the pub have been banned by the government. We will only be accepting card payments during this time. If you are expecting mail that is important please call us on 57775508 and we can make arrangements to get your mail to you outside these times.
