Unfortunately, the Quick Start Guide fails to mention that your Mantra must be running software version 1.20 or later (latest is 1.21) in order for the Wing to work. You can download the latest Mantra software from http://bit.ly/MantraFW After you update your Mantra, plug in the Wing and enjoy.

17.01.2022 LSC Lighting Systems will once again be exhibiting at the forthcoming Prolight + Sound show, Frankfurt 2018. Hall 3.0 - Stand B69 This year will see the officia...l launch of the new UNITY 48ch and 96ch installation racks, a large-scale power switching/dimming system that can control virtually any load from traditional tungsten lamps, through to LEDs, neon and fluorescent fixtures. UNITY has already been installed into a number of high profile venues around the world and is set to become a major success for LSC Lighting Systems. There will also be a first showing of the new data distribution range aimed at the installation markets a new 4-way, DIN-Rail mount version of the popular MDR DMX Splitter with RDM as standard. Also, for 2018 will be a new DIN-Rail mount LED driver for the professional user. The LED-CV4 is a 4ch LED dimmer with constant voltage, a 5A per channel output and is a True 16-bit dimmer that is controlled via DMX and configured by RDM. The award-winning Mantra console will be on show with the latest software that now includes a comprehensive fixture library courtesy of Carallon and new IFCB feature and Live Speed controls including tap to the beat.

14.01.2022 We have just discovered that we are not perfect. :-( The latest v1.35 software for Mantra Lite has a couple of bugs. Both bugs are nasty, in that they can crash the console, but they both also have easy workarounds. We suggest that most users will not be affected and can continue to use v1.35 until we release a fix next week. 1) If you rapidly scroll up and down the Models list in the patch window, the console may crash and restart.... Workaround: Scroll carefully through the list. 2) The console may freeze or crash when exiting the Fixture Editor window. Workaround: Given the new fixture library now has 5,500 fixtures, most users will not need the fixture editor. For those who do still need it, ensure that you save the template, wait 10 seconds, then press the Home button to exit. If the console crashes, it will restart and the custom fixture will be in the library.

The latest v1.30 software increases the flexibility of the console by adding ICBF filtering to memories, as well as providing a new simple to use MoveInBlack feature. 08.01.2022 General Mantra Practise. It is always good practise to manually save shows, however there are also two ways you can ensure that you do not lose a show file. Saving (exporting) the show to a USB stick will ensure that you never lose the file or any custom fixture files. This also allows you to transfer your show to another Mantra should that become necessary. The other way is to save as, giving your show file a different name. As an example lets say you have Show A active... and you need to ensure that nobody accidentally alters that particular show file. If you firstly save it (normally) then use the Save As function and name this "Show B, you will now have a Show A and a Show B file saved within your Mantra. Even if someone accidentally changes or even deletes your show file, the saved as show will still be stored within the Mantra. See more

03.01.2022 The new v1.35 software will be released next Monday. New Features: 1. Live Speed Controls. The bottom left button below the Home screen, which was previously unused, is now used to access the Live Speed controls. Three encoders are provided for FadeTime, ChaseRate and X-Fade. Other controls allow for configuring whether changes affect all active playback/s (global) or selected playback/s, resetting the adjusted times and setting the sensitivity of the encoders.... 2. Tap To The Beat. The Live Speed controls also features a Tap To The Beat button, to allow easy synchronisation of chase/s to the beat of the music. 3. Carallon fixture library. The Mantra Lite now uses the Carallon fixture (as used in LSC Clarity consoles). This provides over 5,500 fixtures, most with multiple operating modes, all included as standard with the console. A fixture request service is available via the LSC web page, to enable end users to request new fixtures for addition to the database. This process takes at least one month from the date of request. Users requiring an urgent template can continue to use the inbuilt Fixture Editor. 4. The RGB faders in the Colours/Sliders app are now hidden if the fixture does not have any RGB parameters to control.
03.01.2022 The next Mantra Lite software update is in Beta testing. The big new feature is Live Speed control of cuelists, chases and animations.
