23.01.2022 Our last weekend session for the year was a success and our young athletes came out to train. Each week everyone is just getting faster, stronger and having more fun! Special thanks to the parents for their support and of course a big thank you to each of your young athletes for coming, getting right in to it and not being afraid to get out of their comfort zone! #manutraining

16.01.2022 Everything feels a bit surreal right now. A few weeks ago we were running our Term 1 program with over 40 kids registered. Sadly, we’ve had to suspend our last remaining sessions for the term. For now the most important thing is to continue maintaining social distancing. Let’s do our part in helping to flatten the curve. A huge thank you to all the parents for supporting their children in attendance. Each child bought so much energy and willingness to learn, compete and exc...el. We will miss our Manu Training family and we look forward to seeing you all soon when the time is safe to return. Stay Safe Everyone!

10.01.2022 Drill Of The Week We can’t wait to get out there to deliver our sessions but until then we will keep posting a new drill each week. Here’s this weeks drill, we use this drill with our athletes to work on their change of direction. Try this game at home or at the park with the whole family. Simple set up and a good way to place kids in scenarios where they have to compete. ... Rules: 10 secs to avoid tagger Stay outside the centre markers Can’t exit the outside markers Have Fun! 08.01.2022 TERM 4 PROGRAM Announcing our Term 4 - 10 Week Program. Commences Tuesday 13th of October 2020. The Program will include: 1.5 hour session per week (Every Tuesday) ages 7-14yrs, 4:30pm-6pm ... Bonus weekend sessions at random including hill sprint session, sand dunes session and other fun activities. Access to private Facebook Group sharing nutrition advice, video tutorials and more. Our group sessions are a great way to develop sport specific speed, agility and fitness suitable for all team sports. They are competitive and fun, ensuring that young athletes don’t just get a fantastic experience but actually come away with improved skills! 04.01.2022 Drill Of The Week Some days athletes just needs a personal connection to a drill. In this drill, we treat it like a video game = know when to ‘react’ and what ‘button’ to push at the right moment. ... This drill is a great way to work on your reaction and change of direction. Set up: -Mark 4 corners (5m x 5m) -Shown in video, we called out buttons on a PlayStation controller (which you can do at random) Triangle being move forward Square to the left Circle to the right X move back We themed the directions of this demonstration around video games but you can relate it to anything your child likes. Try throwing this drill into your next session! Game On!
