21.01.2022 CELEBRATE WITH US TODAY Many French families around the world will be marking the end of the festive season today by feasting on the Galette des Rois. The Galette des Rois or King’s Cake is a delicious puff pastry and frangipane tart and the tradition of eating them on January 6th dates back to the 14th century. ... On this day it is alleged that the three kings arrived in Bethlehem with their gifts for baby Jesus at the epiphany feast. Traditionally the bakers would hide a little charm in the tart (a feve) and whoever was lucky enough to find the charm in their slice would be announced king or queen for the day Come and celebrate the end of the festive season with a Galette des Rois from Manu bakery today!

12.01.2022 Something to make this weekend perhaps?? Baked fetta with drizzled honey and thyme served with toasted rye Cover your fetta with some paper towel to absorb moisture for 1 hr. ... Slice your rye bread very thinly and pop it on an oven tray. Drizzle with olive oil, rub on cut garlic cloves and bake in an oven for 7-10 mins. Transfer the fetta to an oven proof dish of a similar size. Drizzle with honey, sprinkle with thyme and grill for 5-10 mins until golden.
