25.01.2022 When I first took the giant leap of faith and started Manuka Native Nursery, I had the most amazing, gutsy, beautiful lady enter my life. Elke became a huge support to me and my dream, an inspiration and a true friend. I shed tears of pure joy when Elke roamed around the nursery with her beloved camels, it was a truly moving, beautiful sight. I now shed tears over the tragic passing of this one of a kind, georgeous human. Elke had such a strong passion for camels and their h...istory in making Australia what it is today. It was her dream to trek across the outback with her humped crew. Elke also was dedicated to raising awareness and funds for breast cancer, which she so gracefully defeated. To continue her legacy, 10 % of profits the month of February will be donated to the Breast Cancer Foundation. I will miss your pink ute, hugs and inspiration Elke. I just can't believe you are gone. Trek on beautiful lady

03.01.2022 I am not going to lie, but small business, especially when it comes to nurturing natures best, has been quite the struggle. Despite being Forrest Gump seven days ( everywhere I go I am running) , I can not keep up with maintaining and developing the nursery , propagating, social media, and especially the admin side of things. I have a huge backlog of emails, and I am so sorry that I have not responded yet, but you are all important to me. Thank you for your patience. I a...m so grateful for all your support, I have formed amazing bonds with my customers, such a blessing, you are all Manuka family. I do want to delegate something to you all, I am reviewing opening hours and would really appreciate your feedback. We are your nursery, so let us know. Thank you!!!!!

02.01.2022 EDIT: MANUKA HAS BEEN RETURNED HOME SAFELY!!!!!! Thank you all for the shares and support. Our beloved family member "Manuka" is missing. ... Life isn't the same without him and we are extremely worried about his welfare. Please share...Thank you

01.01.2022 THE BEST NEWS!!!!!! Manuka has been returned home safely!!! I can't thank you all enough for the support, shares and well wishes.... To the wonderful people in Allendale North, I am completely in love with such an amazing community. Thank you for working together to bring him home. A big thank you to the family that kept Manuka safe, fed , watered and found his home. Seems Manuka went on a socialising outing, he does have alot of stories to tell. I honestly was not sure how I was going to function in the nursery without him He has been with me from day one of starting the nursery. He is buddy, my laughter, my frustration when he destroys the stock and my teacher of how truly wonderful nature is. Happy Days!! Thank you!!!!!
