22.01.2022 No training this Thursday September 3rd guys. There were many informing they wanted to go to the AFL game at 4.40pm at Cazalys and I was agreeable that this was a good thing. Teams and timesheets will be up on Thursday night. Can players please let me know if you are unavailable this Saturday, either through here or via texting or calling me.

16.01.2022 Hi everyone, it is now official from AFL Cairns that we can return to Cazalys stadium as of next week! So the Seniors & Colts will be training next Tuesday & Thursday at Cazalys and back to normal. Women will train Monday & Thursday. All from 6pm.

This will be our first Function with our Major Sponsor, held September 19th 2:00-6:00pm down at the back deck pool. An area will be roped off for attendee's. Kareena has pl...ayed over 200 games for Hawks and has extensive experience in both Coach and Captain roles having led the Hawks to multiple Premiership wins. Mel is a Premiership player, Club Best and Fairest recipient, fierce competitor and natural leader. Mel is renowned for her hard work, determination and professionalism both on and off the field. Kareena and Mel have played five seasons of footy together at Hawks and have forged a strong partnership based on a shared love of the game, competitive spirit, teamwork and comradery. They are both well respected by their teammates, our Club and the wider Cairns AFL community, and bring complementary strengths and a united vision to the Coaching role. The Manunda Hawks are excited to have Kareena and Mel step up to lead the team with their love for the game, sense of fun, and commitment to the Club which will no doubt bring out the best in our players this season.
