18.01.2022 Many hands and the team at the Mackay Community Gardens came together over the weekend, in a joint effort to get some garden work completed before the rains a come. With weeding, chopping and dropping, removal of guinea grass and a tonne of mulch being moved into building up garden beds and creating prominent edging for the gardens on the day, With music played and pizzas shared, this collective effort is another powerful example on when many hands come together with a commo...n goal a lot can be achieved. Big thank you to everyone that came down to help assist this beautiful community space and help get this much needed work done. Many Hands Making Light Work. : @CaseyVollmann See more

07.01.2022 We here at many hands, have always had thoughts of belief that the areas we clean up energetically raises the Vibrations and energy of the spaces we gather on. Going around for a look at some of the sites we have come together on, with open hearts and good intentions have still left these sites looking beautiful. Big thank you again to all have come down to help out with not only the physical work but also the spiritual work with tears being shed, and laughs shared with open conversations of respect in a true manner of caring for each other. This month will be our last clean up day for the year and will be created closer to the end of the week and we bringing the goods!

05.01.2022 Local Jams in the Kuranda Land.
03.01.2022 3 weeks ago a crew of many hands gathered with itchy feet, headed north to give love to the lands and the people. Spending time in national forests and camp grounds, removing rubbish from lands we've gathered on. Our Travels brought us to the country of the Yabagai (Kuranda). For many thousand years the Yabagai people of this land followed the law of dreaming (Bulluru). This Law connects the people with the animals and land. This Law talks of take what you need from land and... never take all so there will be more for future. 'We cared for environment because our lives depending on it'. In Acknowledgement and respect for the elders past present and upcoming on this land we organised a clean up day here in Kuranda. Bringing the local community together with a beautiful feed and loving intentions put back into country and community. With food, stories, music and laughs shared. The feeling of importance of strong community and respect for our earth and each other was left within all our hearts on this day, with the deep intimate feeling coming back to the common ground of Human-ness of that we are all one. When we come together with a common cause beautiful things can be created very quickly. Many Hands Making Light Work. See more
01.01.2022 Last weekend we came together to beautify the sand fly boardwalk and Mackay City Boat Ramp. The morning had us enjoying a meditation and a sound bath from Shell Thorpe by her beautiful Tibetan singing bowls, so blessed! After being vibrated we were able to go with clear heads and hearts to get into the much needed job of making our community looking beautiful once more, not just for us but for every creature big and small. We were able to clean up 30kilos of rubbish ran...ging from an old camp site that had been burnt down from an exploded portable charger, all the way to a crab pot that was up cycled and is being made into a beautiful Dream catcher! Thank you Lo La! Then to finish the day with a beautiful fruit bowl and a swim at the beach. Thank you so much to everyone who came down was such a beautiful day. Many Hands Making Light Work.
