17.01.2022 After 6 months of fighting for my right to receive my entitled job keeper payment last week I received a phonecall from the ATO with the news that it had finally been approved with an apology for the huge amount of stress the entire process had placed on me losing my only form of income as a single Mother and having to jump through a million hoops to have my payment approved. It was a crazy stressful 6 months and I kinda feel like I’ve been run over by a truck right now afte...r todays phonecall..... I’ve been checking my account for a week seeing if my payment had landed but no sign of it. Then a fairly ordinary to say the least call this afternoon from the ATO saying there had been an admin error and I won’t be receiving my job keeper payments after all.... I’ve 100% lost any kind of faith in the world tonight. Such a straight forward case mine is..... Sole trader Beauty Salon Forced closure Entitled to job keeper Lost 100% of my income for 11 weeks from March Yes I will be taking this further No I’m not going to cry, I’m going to dust myself off and endeavour to win this. Pity there’s social distancing still happening as I could really use a cuddle or 30 right now. Thankyou to my gorgeous clients who continue to support me in a hard year for us all
