22.01.2022 WILVOS will be here at our Country Markets on Saturday 28th November from 8am to 12noon. Come and say hello to the team, they'd love to tell you what they have... been doing. Where it all began - WILVOS started back in 1986 when an increase of development commenced around the Sunshine Coast that in turn created a surge of injured, sick and orphaned animals. With more volunteers desperately needed to keep up with the influx of injured animals, by 1995 WILVOS became an incorporated association working very closely with Queensland National Parks. 22.01.2022 SOUND HEALING MEDIATATION IS ON AGAIN Sunday 29th November at 5:30 PM 6:30 PM AT the Mapleton Community Hall and is Hosted by Elena Lymbery. Tibetan Crystal bowls and gongs were used for centuries to create feelings of peace, relaxation and to deepen meditation. They also balance both hemispheres of the brain, improve sleep and help with pain management. Sound healing uses the principle of resonance : everything in the universe from atoms and minerals, to plants and animal...s, and the planets, galaxies, and we ourselves, are in a state of vibration. Sound is also a vibration and by using the correct resonant frequencies you can clear negative energy and restore health in the body. Sacred sounds raise your vibration and transmute negative emotions such as anxiety, fear, grief and depression clearing a pathway for love, harmony and health to permeate your physical body, mind and emotions. The very pure notes created during sound healing tune up our body, in the same way that a musician tunes a piano - so we can play our best music and perform at our best. Please come and share a beautiful healing space with others of like mind. $20.00 Please, bring a yoga mat, a cushion and a blanket for your own convenience if you'd like to lie on the floor. There are chairs available. Elena's Story Elena was born in Russia and holds a Masters degree in Biology from St Petersburg university and worked in the Russian Academy of Science at the Lake Research Institute. After moving to Australia, she became interested in metaphysics and how we can create our own reality and shape the world around us. Elena developed Elestial Healing after over twenty years of studying and practicing many different natural healing modalities and now uses crystal grids and bowls, Tibetan gongs and her Russian healing heritage to create a space for profound healing and transformation. Elena is highly intuitive and sensitive to energy, and loves to use her abilities to assist and empower others through raising their vibration and awareness, to create the life they choose. She holds regular workshops at the Relaxation Centre of Qld, and offers private healing sessions in Newmarket. See more

09.01.2022 AT OUR COUNTRY MARKETS THIS SATURDAY 28TH NOVEMBER - NUMEROUS ARRAY OF BUSH TUCKER, SEEDLINGS AND DAY LILLIES AVAILABLE. NEED TO KNOW ABOUT RUST INFECTION - ASK JOHN AND JOANN AT THEIR STALL? The Australian DPI came up with a simple solution some years ago.... One-part Bleach to 100 parts water sprayed on the entire plant will kill the rust on contact. The rust resides deep in the soil of your property. Over time it will make its way to the stems of your plants. When the brown staining is evident it is time to spray again. Most properties will only require a spray 3 to 4 times in a decade. Our plants are rust free but have been treated anyway to avoid spreading to your property if you do not already have it in the soil. Mapleton Hall, 31 Obi Obi Rd Mapleton FREE easy onsite parking behind the hall. Enquiries call Paula on 0419 726 603
