25.01.2022 What a stunning winters day Sunday was. A perfect day to be enjoying one of our 2018 Pinot Noir's. Here we are out checking on the ewes and lambs, Paddy was quite intrigued looks like there's only a couple more to arrive and lambing will be over for the year. Love seeing the pastures all green after some very dry years and these mums and bubs are loving it too.

25.01.2022 Well done to all the Oatlands businesses who supported the Go Gold Oatlands campaign for childhood cancer. The Imbibers tip jar is very heavy from our generous... customers and we have topped it up by another $100 for such a great cause. This month, we are turning pink for breast cancer awareness month. In support of Think Pink and the McGrath Foundation, our tip jar will be split between those two wonderful charities in support of their important work. We are also donating $1 from every glass of Rose sold, and $2 from every bottle..... we have some lovely pink wines, from Touchwood Wines, Drew Wines, Invercarron Wines, Winstead Vineyard, Craigow Vineyard and Observatory Hill Vineyard as well as a cracker of a sparkling Rose from Nocton Vineyard. Come in and raise a glass in support! (also, we are developing a lovely pink gin cocktail in conjunction with Quiet Mutiny, Lawrenny Distilling and Tasmanian Tonic Company (watch this space... coming soon!).

17.01.2022 ROSÈ OF THE YEAR 2020 We were honoured to have been entered by our winemakers into this competition for Wine of the year in Australia and New Zealand, held by Winestate Magazine. We were then over the moon to have placed in the the top 5 finalists but then to find out we have won and been named Rosè of the year is absolutely thrilling. So humbled and excited. Great work by all at Mapleton and the winemakers. Thank you to everyone involved. We think our 2018 and 2019 Rosè are... both delicious and have both received deserving medals but this 2020 is something special. Some of you were very brave battling the heat yesterday, thank goodness today was much more pleasant. We had a great weekend. 02.01.2022 So we've been a little quiet during the Covid19 lockdown period as we've been rather busy with a few things, one of which was welcoming a new little farmer to the family in early March. Meet little Patterson, aka Paddy Now that things are starting to get back to normal and work on the vineyard hasn't stopped, we will be much more active on here sharing news, specials, progress etc. We hope you are all staying safe during these times.
