25.01.2022 Maranatha Gunyah is having an open day & our beautiful volunteers are having a cake stall. They are welcoming anything baked as long as it’s individually wrapped & has your name & a list of ingredients on each cake. If you would like to donate to the cake stall please drop all cakes to Maranatha on Friday the 18th. Thanks so much

13.01.2022 Wellington Leads Australia and the World at Maranatha Gunyah Maranatha Gunyah - Wellington’s Intergenerational Learning Centre opened its doors on Saturday to ...give the community a sneak peak at this Australia-first centre which combines childcare with aged care. It’s been beautifully designed and built and opens its doors next month. It’s also sure to attract national and international interest and researchers. It was terrific to catch up with John Trounce, Dixie Robinson (Childcare Director), Terry Frost, Brendan Morris, Matt and Will Redfern (legendary Wellington builders/sparkies), Herbie and Freddie Redfern (future legendary Wellington builders) and members of the Wellington community. The Australian Government contributed $1.5 million. Can’t wait for the opening!

Key points: Until further notice all residential aged care facilities must: ensure all staff and visitors wear a surgical mask within the facility Areas of increased testing in NSW are: o Northern Beaches LGA o suburbs in the Canterbury LGA - Ashbury, Belfield, Campsie, Canterbury, Clemton Park, Croydon Park, Earlwood, Hurlstone Park) o Cumberland City Council o suburbs in the Mount Druitt area - Bidwell, Blackett, Doonside, Dharruk, Emerton, Hebersham, Lethbridge Park, Minchinbury, Mount Druitt, Shalvey, Tregear, Whalan, Wilmot o Rooty Hill Interstate areas and times of concern are: o anyone who has been in the following Queensland Local government Areas since 2 January 2021: City of Brisbane, Logan City, City of Ipswich, Moreton Bay Region, Redland City, Lockyer Valley Region, Scenic Rim Region or Somerset Region o anyone who has been to the Grand Chancellor Hotel in Brisbane since 30 December 2020.
