20.01.2022 Attention Landcruiser owners! While the Landcruiser log book says to check brake pads every 10 000km, our experience tells us the abrasive sandy loam in the Balonne, coupled with some wet weather, can chew through both genuine, and good quality aftermarket pads alike, in as little as 3000km. The message is you need to be aware of this and monitor them. This is a typical example of a vehicle that needed new rotors, because the pads have been chewed and spat out, in between... services. At every service, we thoroughly check all components susceptible to wear, and ensure preventative maintenance is done, and advise customers to monitor or replace components if we suspect they won’t last until next service. Most of our customers are busy people who want to avoid the inconvenience of maintenance outside scheduled service intervals. They prefer it is all done properly at service time. #WeKeepYouMoving

13.01.2022 This is one important little bit that lives in your dash and helps keep your air cool. Its the EVAPORATOR. This one looks clean on the interior side, but look at the outside. The exterior side needs to stay clean to keep your air cool. If your air vents were on FRESH not CIRCULATE during the dusty day on Friday, your evaporator may look like this one. 04.01.2022 No matter how many k’s you do, we recommend doing a Major Service every 2 years, or 40 000 k’s which ever comes first. Brake and clutch fluid deteriorate with time, regardless of the k’s you travel, and you need your brakes and clutch to work! And if you drive a 4WD, there are a lot more components that need checking and preventative maintenance every 2 years. Don’t hesitate to ask us if you have any questions about maintaining your vehicle cost effectively for optimal performance and safety. Our boys love sharing their expertise!

02.01.2022 Many of us are travelling less due to Covid, but it is important to note that no matter how many km's you do, we recommend a Major service every 2 years or 40 000km, whichever comes first. One reason for this, is because brake and clutch fluids absorb and retain moisture, causing coponents to rust. Rust = contamination, causing parts to fail prematurely.
