21.01.2022 UNDER 18.5 HEAD COACH ANNOUNCEMENT We are absolutely delighted to confirm that DARREN CADDY has accepted the role of Under 18.5 Head Coach for the 2021 season. Daz is a Level 2 coach who has been Marby Staunch since 2012, joining the club immediately following a 6 year coaching stint at VFL powerhouse Williamstown. Daz has also coached his own teams at senior level, and is as passionate about player development as anyone we have met. ... Given the club is expecting to field 2 x Under 18.5 sides in 2021, we are still in the process of finalising other coaching positions within the age group. Any players interested in joining the Marby Army can message us directly, or contact Darren on 0447 043 131

20.01.2022 COMMITTED A double delight to kick off the weekend in style, with 2020 recruits MITCH COMBEN and PAT MCCARTHY committing to Marby for 2021. The boys, who both have experience playing state league footy, are having a kick in the Northern Territory this Summer, and we can’t wait to see them finally do their stuff in the Lions guernsey next year.

20.01.2022 Today we remember the sacrifices of all our service men and women past and present. Lest we forget.

07.01.2022 THANKS JMAC Our incredible senior captain, John McKenzie, is returning to Tasmania with his beautiful wife Emily and brand new baby boy Gus. JMac has been an outstanding footballer, leader and person at Marby Park since arriving from Port Melbourne, and his impact cannot be underestimated; a champion on the field and even better bloke off it.... On behalf of the entire Marby Park community, we thank JMac for his absolutely enormous contribution to the club, and wish him and his gorgeous little family all the very best for their next phase.

06.01.2022 Our Marby 40th Anniversary Gin promotion from Grassroots Distilling was well received and thanks to everyone who placed an order. Some of the first batch were delivered last weekend with lots of great feedback. We also heard some of you didn’t quite get around to placing an order in the first run. So, we’ve been in contact with Grassroots Distilling, and as they have some spare labels and product they have agreed to keep the promotion available for another week. If you misse...d the first round, or want to get another bottle, head to the Grassroots Distilling website and place your orders now, don’t forget a percentage of each sale goes to the club and also helps support a local small business who help give clubs like Marby the chance to earn some extra funds. Go to https://grassrootsdistilling.co/collections//products/marby and place your order now. Thanks for supporting the club. Go Marby
