Esperamos que se encuentren bien especialmente de salud. stos son tiempos sin precedentes y ltimamente nos hemos sentido un poco perdidos en cuanto como podemos ayudar durante esta crisis de COVID-19 que ha cambiado fundamentalmente nuestras vidas. Nos preocupa aquellos Estudiantes Internacionales en Perth quines algunos de ellos han quedado sin ninguna ayuda, sin poder atender a sus clases, sin trabajo, y sin manera de regresar a casa. Algunos en si...tuaciones muy precarias y con un lmite de ingresos. Vamos a preparar algunos platos de comida gratis, que contiene Marcelitas frjoles paisas, acompaado con nuestro chorizo artesanal, arroz y de sobremesa una rica y refrescante agua de panela con limn para aquellos Estudiantes Internacionales que estn pasando por un momento difcil. 16.01.2022 Hola todos! Your weekend in empanadas just started a bit earlier... We have our first visit this evening to Scarborough Sunset Markets. Well be there every couple of weeks for the next month or two... The markets are along Scarborough beach front and well be setup somewhere in the middle (if I can read a map correctly). 5pm til 9pm tonight!... Then tomorrow were at our beloved @Twilight Hawkers Market (Fri 20th December) from 430pm til 930pm. Sunday we return to Optus Stadium for the final Christmas Festival in Stadium Park (4pm til 830pm) outside Optus Stadium Monday were in Inglewood for Inglewood on Beaufort, in the new bar area at the corner of 10th Ave and Beaufort St, 6pm til 9pm. These are unprecedented times and we have been feeling a little lost lately as to how we can help during this Covid19 crisis which has fundamentally changed our way of life. ... We are very concerned about the international students in Perth who have been left out of support measures. Unable to attend classes, unable to work, and unable to go back home. Some in very precarious situations and with limited resources. With these people in mind, we would like to humbly offer our food, that it might bring a little respite to those in need. We will be preparing some free meals containing Marcelitas frijoles paisas (Colombian beans), accompanied with our homemade chorizo, rice, and agua de panela con limn (Colombian lemonade) for International Students who are experiencing difficulties. Well be serving the meals next Sunday 31st of May between 12:00pm to 2pm from a kitchen in Highgate. If you can send us a private message by Friday 29th May letting us know how many meals you need, we will give you the details for pickup. 10.01.2022 Hola linda gente! Remember we are taking orders for empanadas and chorizos weekly! Orders received by Tuesday can be picked up on Thursday from our kitchen in Highgate between 5pm and 7pm. The empanadas are fried and frozen, all you have to do is heat them from the freezer in the oven at 160C for 15 mins and they’re ready to eat!... We have shredded beef, pork & lime and potato (vegetarian). The empanadas come in packages of 9 units at $27 or 2 packs for $50; Each pack contains one flavour and includes a rich touch of Ají pique (chilli salsa) to accompany the empanadas! The chorizos are our famous Colombian style pork sausages that we have developed over 5 years of markets. We use free-range pork, spring onion, cumin, smoked paprika, and a hint of chilli. They are perfect on the bbq, pan fried, or to give a special touch to your dishes. We have them in packages of 4 units (approx. 500gr) at $13. Remember all of our products are handmade and we use fresh local ingredients. The empanadas, chorizos and ají pique are gluten free, dairy free, nut free, safe for coeliacs, but most importantly delicious! 10.01.2022 What a fantastic day we had! Today was a special day for us to give a little back to help international students in difficult times. We smoked some of or chorizos and put them into packs with rice, slow cooked beans, and a cup of Colombian lemonade.... We are happy to say we were able to give away over 70 meals today. Being able to make connections and see the appreciation on peoples faces was a beautiful thing. We will be doing it again for sure! Gracias a Valentina and Marian for the help, Sero Institute Perth for the use of the kitchen, and to friends who dropped by throughout the day. Please look after each other. We love you all. Tonight is the last night of Twilight Hawkers Markets in Forrest Place and whilst the idea of getting a Friday night off for once is quite appealing, we will very much miss seeing all our regulars and the beautiful vibe of the city on a Friday night. This season was shortened by the City of Perth, so if you think it should have gone for longer (ahem)... send them a message.

05.01.2022 Hola amigos, Just a quick note to state the obvious... With the government ban on events over 500 people, essentially all of the night markets and events that we do have been cancelled. ... Tonight we would normally be at Inglewood on Beaufort night markets, and this weekend coming we would have gone to Perth UpMarket. So unfortunately for you (and more so for a whole industry of food trucks), the event season is effectively over for the time being. We have been fortunate in that we didnt have a huge line up of events booked in, and the private events the past weekend all went ahead as scheduled, but some others out there are in much more serious situations. Clearly I dont have any answers as to what to do, but just thought Id let you know were all in the same boat.
