19.01.2022 What a fabulous day it was today! Rebels trained at Docklands with the party boats, low flying planes, tourists and the beautiful black swans coming to watch us go through our "Moomba Moves". We got the big thumbs up from the Moomba choreographer who came to check us out. It was fabulous to have our newest members fall right into the team and they hit the dock marching! WELCOME Lorraine Lowry and Rose Cullen (our 3rd Kiwi in the team) :D

09.01.2022 Introducing Regal Phoenix! There are now 2 leisure Marching teams in Melbourne, Regal Phoenix and Melbourne ferns (composite Aussie/ NZ team) Some of these Ladies have never marched in the sport before. We are so pleased to see so many ladies marching this year in the Moomba Parade. I understand that you may have only seen 1 team on TV. But due to Broadcasting restraints (1 Hr TV Coverage) the 2nd team did not get air time. But we don't care, we had fun! We were placed just in Front of the king and Queen. It was a fantastic day for the Sport of Marching! GO GIRLS!
