Mr Gill (pictured in the article 3rd from the left) one of our AWESOME directors, would travel all the way from Muswellbrook every Tuesday afternoon to rehearse in Newcastle alongside 8 other dedicated members from Muswellbrook High school, and an additional 10 students from Scone high school.... What a fantastic memory to share! 12.01.2022 Thanks so much to Jan for sending through this awesome Koalas memorabilia! Jan found this (see photo below) in her parents photo album! Her parents, alongside an army of other volunteers, helped raise the necessary funds required to get the Koalas to the Rose Parade, USA in 1983/84. ... This was in recognition of their mammoth effort. The $1 note is in absolute mint condition.
