Their support has en...abled us to keep member fees affordable (which was really helpful through challenging times this year) and assisted with venue hire at North Shore Community Centre, Mudjimba where we love meeting twice a month to practice our public speaking and leadership skills. 20.01.2022 Last Friday we had a birthday in branch, our fearless leader Mark! Friday was a particularly busy day, and our apologies to our customers that had to wait longer than usual to be served. We eventually had time to celebrate with Mark, and ate some delicious Bee Sting cakes from Mudjimba Bakery. If you've never had the pleasure of tasting one, head on in, you won't be disappointed. Heavenly!!

10.01.2022 This is why we love our job! Last week, Branch manager Mark went to visit the lovely team at Good Samaritan Catholic College to see their Rainbow Program in action. The Rainbows program is run by trained facilitators for students of all ages who have experienced loss in their lives, usually due to divorce, separation of parents or death of a close family member.... Rainbows is an international not-for-profit organisation that fosters emotional healing among children and youth grieving a loss from a life-altering crisis. Rainbow, 2020 This will be the second year Good Samaritan College will run the program after a very successful first year, they are expecting numbers to almost triple from last year. We are very proud to be able to support and sponsor this program for a second year, so Deb and her team can continue to produce high quality programs offered at NO cost to children and youth. Well done again! Such an integral program that should be in ALL schools. If you know of a community group doing great things, we would love to hear about them.
