An... update will be posted as soon as we have further information. _________________ At this time we do not believe Pilates studios fall into the category of venues that need to close today. Studios take appointments and can manage social distancing rules. Most studios have already spaced equipment for social distancing so ensure you consider the waiting area as well. We will update as new information is available.

12.01.2022 Hi there Pilates people and interested Pilates people. There is so much going on around us at the moment. This virus has us shaking. If you love your Pilates then ask the questions and trust your Pilates Studio is doing everything possible to stay sanitised and safe. If you are worried, maybe your studio is running skype sessions you can join in on. So many amazing teachers are working this way now. I would also recommend looking at something like pilatesology.com So many great work outs from international teachers to work with.

10.01.2022 Pilates is at the top of its game here in Lisbon at the Authentic Pilates Experience Conference Portugal under the guidance of Inelia Garcia. For cynics out the...re who may think classical Pilates is crazy hard and not for mere mortals, let me stress, what you see here in these clips is a show! Its a demonstration performed by Authentic Pilates instructors and advanced students from Brazil and Portugal. Classical Pilates is not to be feared. It inspires you. Its exercise, and yes, its taught to mere mortals of all ages by breaking down the work, mastering the basics and building on those important foundations. More images to come over the next few days.

08.01.2022 Another great workout today for APEI teachers, students and colleagues. over the past few weeks we have had weekly Friday 1pm sessions led by: yours truley, m...arda, Celia, next week Eve, followed by Michelle, Renea and Katie. This started out being a fun get together to keep our bodies moving during lockdown. As we slowly move into teaching and practicing in our own or host studios again ( it will happen!) its obvious thats its a great way for all of us to remain connected. if you would like to keep connected each friday nationally pms me so we can work out a plan and schedule teachers moving forward. here are a few pics from todays session with Marda. ps: loved seeing fur babies, real babies and kids in the background! 08.01.2022 Yesterday was Romanas birthday. Happy Birthday to the memory of an amazing woman. I have read some beautiful posts about her. Today I realised, not only did she teach me how to be a Pilates teacher, she showed me that is ok and quite powerful to be passionate about something you love and enjoy. Pilates for me. Thank you forever Romana.
