13.01.2022 SAVE THE DATE : Our church AGM is on 13th September after the morning service. There are vacancies for one Elder and up to three Deacons on our leadership team, so please prayerfully consider who God may be calling to fill the vacant positions. A letter with more details and nomination forms have been sent out to all current members.

09.01.2022 Our Youth Group starts off this term with a Games Night at the church this Friday evening. Those students from Year 6, in their final term of primary school, are also welcome to join us.

07.01.2022 50 chairs doesn’t seem like much but there are more out on the verandah! We do plan to livestream the service but if all else fails there will be a recorded version coming through at the end of the service.

07.01.2022 Yeah !! Youth is back on this term starting Friday night, 24th July at 7pm for a mixed games night at the church. Watch this space for more information about the program for the rest of the term!

07.01.2022 Our Church Service tomorrow morning (Sunday 23rd August) will continue as usual You may have heard that some new restrictions for Queensland were put into place this morning at 8am, but as a church we are able to continue operating under the Industry COVID Safe plan. 06.01.2022 This week our mainly music group are having a family catch-up in Mary Andrews Park, Wednesday 22nd July at 9am. BYO morning tea and everyone is invited to input into planning how mainly music will work safely for this term, starting at 9:30am. Lyle Shelton is the immediate past Managing Director of the Australian Christian Lobby and was a Qld Senate Candidate for the Australian Conservatives at the last federal election. During the 2017 same-sex marriage plebiscite he was a director and spokesperson for the Coalition for Marriage, and he will be at the Mareeba Baptist Church to host an afternoon tea from 3:15pm on Saturday the 8th to meet like minded people and talk about his new book: 'I Kid You Not: Notes from 20 years in the trenches of the Culture Wars'. If you've ever been interested in the question "Whatever happened to good old Aussie culture and values!?" Then Lyle will be able to give you some interesting insight into the answer!
