18.01.2022 Hi Just a quick update - We are still closed as a shop front until its viable for us to reopen - this is mainly based upon when dancing schools, competitions etc are able to start back up. However, we are still taking orders via Facebook message if your dancer or non dancer is in need of goods! Were in the shop for a few hours once, sometimes twice a week to place orders, post and or hand deliver within reason. We really appreciate everyones understanding in this ever ...changing environment of COVID-19 and are so grateful for those who have and are continuing to place orders with us. Weve endured online shopping, dance schools stocking essential dance items, recessions and more - trying to keep our small business alive has been tough But with COVID-19, I feel this could be much tougher to combat as a small business! I understand why our customers arent wanting to step outside, I cant blame you! Which is why were going to offer ...FREE postage, no matter how large or small! Anywhere in Australia. This will enable you to still call us or send us a FB msg to order your goods, without having to leave your house . Once paid, we will post - FREE! We urge you to still please support Us and other small businesses As for our opening hours, we will more than likely need to reassess in the coming weeks, as little to no customers has seen a drop in sales Watch this space in regards to that. 17.01.2022 Festival Competition Update: Good morning everyone, We would like to inform all dancing schools and competitors that the Launceston Festival of Dance will go ah...ead for 2020 (subject to Covid-19 restrictions in September). We will offering a condensed program this year (in light of our current situation and restrictions) that will only include Solos, Duos and Trios. Competition Dates: Monday 28th September - Saturday 3rd October Entry opening details and further information will be available in the coming weeks. 16.01.2022 To our customers, This is not a post we thought our little shop would need to do, however today was not a good one for us. We understand COVID has affected so many lives, which can be stressful! Our little business has taken a hit like no other & we truly do not know what our future will look like. Although our state is currently COVID free, as we all know this can change in a second. Which is why social distancing, shop limits etc are in place.... In knowing all of this, the dance world its self has taken a massive hit with no local comps being held, no stage shows & very different dance class structures which has meant we have HAD to reduce our hours (many mainland suppliers and business closing!) Not because we want to, but we simply do not have the customers coming through to open every day of the week. This does NOT give anyone the right to verbally abuse me because of this. I love my dance family and shop, so today really shook me Abusing me for not being open all week is not on. It will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave. No one deserves it! Its simple, just be kind Denise x

Yep, you read it right At this stage we will be open the following hours;... 11-3 Saturdays 11-5 Wednesdays Our hours will hopefully increase once the dance world does We please ask if sick please DO NOT visit us - save it until youre well! Wednesdays 11-5 Saturdays 11-3 We amended our hours back in June when we were able to reopen, due to COVID. Its still not financially viable for us to open any more days/hours due to the huge decline in our business Our hours are updated on our shop front door & on our Facebook page. If you DM us, our hours are in the automatic response that gets sent also Once competitions, concerts, theatre shows etc are back and at full capacity, hopefully we can be also!
