19.01.2022 Eshkar and Scott were to be married today - originally at Kangaroo Valley Bush retreat which was sadly devastated during the January bush fires. They re-grouped and instead planned to marry at the gorgeous Woods Farm in Jervis Bay and then... well COVID happened Whilst their wedding day has been rescheduled (for a second time!) to next year we didn’t want to let the moment pass and yesterday all those crazy rain storms parted just in time for a pretty perfect sunset. ... Proof that love indeed beats anything 2020 will try to throw at it!

There are tough decisions ahead and we just want to reassure you that we’ve got you. We are currently business as usual, but we are more than willing to help you reschedule your date or change things up (like turning it into an elopement, a more intimate event, or switching it up to an outdoor location) if you f...eel you need too. All rescheduling fees will be waived, with no additional costs to you. Please get in touch with us as soon as possible so that we can chat about all your options. For everyone going ahead as planned (or a slight change in plans) - We just can’t wait! Can we please just ask that you request any of your guests that are feeling even a little unwell to please stay home. The health and safety of everyone is our top priority. 18.01.2022 It’s MARDI GRAS and this year the theme is ‘What Matters’. As a gay couple running a wedding photography business this has been on our mind quite a lot and this year we’re shooting more same sex couples weddings than ever before - we’ve put a few thoughts together on what we think matters to the LGBTQIA+ couples getting married and what we believe is so important for the Australian wedding industry. REPRESENTATION - It means so much to see yourself represented in... images as you search for inspiration for your own wedding day. Imagery of the diverse LGBTQIA+ community clearly visible on a business’s website and social media helps couples to feel normalised, safe, equal... and even more excited about their own day. COMBATTING HETERONORMATIVITY - This is as simple as understanding that today, in Australia not everyone that is getting married is a Mr and Mrs, a Bride and a Groom. All business’s must ensure that their documentation, online presence and general communication recognises this. There’s nothing more awkward than having to tell a business you’ve been chatting to about your wedding day - ‘sorry we don’t have a groom’ or ‘ah, there is no bride’ or witnessing a slip of tongue during a ceremony ‘(eeek!) No couple should be put in this situation at such an exciting time. SUPPORT - We recognise that many couples have loved ones who will not be attending their weddings due to their heteronormative ideas around marriage and relationships. As an industry and individuals we need to be understanding and compassionate about how how difficult this can be for our couples. PROTECTION - There must be absolute rejection of any business or legislation that allows statements of hate speech and / or discrimination based on gender or sexual orientation. 02.01.2022 ERIN AND ERICA!!! Sorry it's early, but I just wanted to thank you both so, so much! You are both gorgeous and made yesterday so bloody amazing. Jessy REALLY enjoyed himself! And all anybody could say was how nice and easy to work with you both were! The few photos we have seen are so bloody amazing! I cried they were that amazing!... 02.01.2022 YAY!!!!!!!! From this weekend we are back in action! With NSW government restrictions easing just enough, we are -carefully- returning to work! We’re sooo excited to pick up our cameras again.
