10.01.2022 SOUTH WEST CAMPGROUNDS TO REOPEN Campgrounds within national parks, reserves and State forests will be open for camping from midday Friday. The changes ap...ply to most of the 268 campgrounds managed across WA by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions and includes camping in huts along the Bibbulmun Track and Munda Biddi Trail. But remember intrastate travel restrictions and physical distancing measures still apply, so you will only be able to go to a campground in your region. The four square metres of space per person rule must be adhered to in all communal areas such as camp kitchens, and dont forget you can only gather in groups of 10. Some national parks in the Kimberley region remain closed, along with tourist attractions like the Tree Top Walk.
