14.01.2022 I’ve been hard at work rehearsing for my yearly dance concert! Since I was a child I’ve been a tap and jazz dancer. Apart from a 33 year break from age 15 to age 48, I’ve always danced! I’ve been privileged to have been taught by the wonderful Darren Disney, who is one of the original Tap Dogs (and, in my opinion, the best!). You can imagine how hard he pushes me and my fellow dancers - and I can tell you he expects as much from us as he does his 18 year olds.... It’s the best way for me to exercise and I sweat it out for three and a half hours on a Tuesday night, having added hip hop as a challenge for the past two years. I might be 60, but I’m still keeping up with the 30 year olds in our class! This weekend we had a lovely cocktail party to de-stress before the concert in two weeks and here I am with my lovely teacher and dear friend, Darren. Stay tuned for video clips from the concert!
