25.01.2022 So the South West regional border opens from next week. Its a great reward for West Aussies smashing the curve. And it sounds like more than a few Perth peeps... have planned an escape down south, with reports of accommodation businesses heavily booked. Im just hoping the Perth crew fully understand most of the wineries and restaurants are either not open or nowhere near capacity at the moment. Dont expect a degustation lunch at Vasse Felix, or a beer at the Tav. It wont be Margaret River as you know it. That being said I reckon its gonna be an amazing opportunity for people to do Margaret River like youve never done it before! In other words its an awesome opportunity to just relax or to see and do things differently. There are still loads of nature based experiences to explore. All the beaches, hiking trails, mountain biking, rope adventures and attractions like caves and lighthouses will be open to escape the Covid blues. MRDCo will also have exciting news coming up in the next few days and well be touring again on a Private Tour basis from next week . Stay tuned. Stay safe. Play safe.
