22.01.2022 Meet Natalie & Rob. Today Natalie surprised her now fiancee with a surprise marriage proposal at our Swan Valley factory. She put on her Willy Wonka suit, set out a series of beautifully worded cards leading to the entry and then met him at the door with the ring. There were tears and laughter and lots of chocolate and of course he said YES. It's Spring in the Swan Valley and love is in the air!

21.01.2022 On Saturday the State Government will launch a new SafeWA electronic contact registration system requiring certain businesses to maintain a contact register of all visitors. The new system will assist the Western Australian Health Department to deploy rapid and effective COVID-19 contact tracing if required. Although retail shops are not required to implement the SafeWA visitor registration system, cafes are required to do so and because our two factories include both a ret...ail shop and a cafe we have made a decision to introduce the SafeWA registration system across all of our retail venues. From Saturday visitors will be asked to scan one of the numerous SafeWA QR code posters that will be displayed around our retail showrooms using the SafeWA app. Cafe customers will be required to scan their details at the time of ordering. Those without mobile phones may fill out their contact details on a manual register. Contact register information collected through the SafeWA app is not stored by the business. It is encrypted at the point of capture and stored securely by WA Health for 28 days and only accessed if needed by the department’s contact tracing teams. Manual registration forms will be stored securely in our safe and destroyed after 28 days. We will not record or keep your information or share it with a third party other than the WA Health department if formally required to do so. 10.01.2022 Five years ago when bushfires decimated the six hundred strong Northcliffe quokka colony, only thirty nine quokkas survived. Working with the WWF we funded the purchase of highly sophisticated radio transmitting collars for the remaining Quokkas. Today we are thrilled to report that the program's close tracking and monitoring of the colony and additional work done on controlling foxes has seen the colony grow to two hundred and seventy two. One of only three small quokka colonies on the Australian mainland it was essential that everything be done to save the few surviving quokkas and we are are delighted to have been able to play a role in helping to secure a viable mainland future for this much loved but threatened species.
