24.01.2022 Very sad to hear the news of the sudden passing of Dean Jones Aussie cricket legend. https://sports.ndtv.com//former-australian-cricketer-dean-

23.01.2022 What a morning! The only thing to make today better would be to secure your summer with the Hawks! Our come and try day is today at Gloucester Park in Margaret River, at the AMR Hawks Football and Netball Club for all junior cricketers, experienced or not! Catering from 5 year olds to over 70s!... 1230 - 130pm. Registrations open and your chance to be a #futurehawk is now!

22.01.2022 Awesome turnout today considering the terrible weather! Thanks to Danny, Elle, Mark, Lewis, Matt, Kim, Sam, Tom and Plugger for your help. But massive thanks to the Hawks own Superman, Shane Joyce for organising and running the show. As soon as the footy grand final was over, and just like Clark Kent, he was out of his footy top and into his cricket attire! Thanks to the parents and most importantly, to the #futurehawks who showed up and had a blast!

20.01.2022 Some photos from yesterday!

18.01.2022 Sorry this is a bit late. Hawks B Grade are T20 Champions! Keeping Cowaramup to 82, we chased the runs 3 wickets down! Danny took crucial wickets, while Garsty hit an unbeaten 50 in the run chase!

17.01.2022 Margaret River Hawks Cricket Club Junior Update - Years 3-6 WOW........keep the Expressions of Interests coming in.......we have had a number of people contact us already regarding second teams in these year groups.... 16.01.2022 Good Afternoon Woolworths Cricket Blasters! We are pleased to introduce our coaches for the 2020/21 Junior Blasters and Master Blasters Program at Margaret River Hawks Cricket Club. Front (L-R) Reuben Bain, Tom Joyce... Back (L-R) Sam Joyce, Harvey Fisher Harvey 'Nemo' Fisher is a club favourite and awesome with our young hawks. Harvey amazingly made his A-Grade debut last season at the age of 15 as a Wicketkeeper/Batsman and went on to be part of the 2019/20 A-Grade Premiership team....WOW!! Reuben, Sam & Tom once started out as Junior Blasters and have progressed through the development levels and will be valuable members of the Stage 2 Team at the Mighty Hawks. Having loved the Cricket Blasters program themselves, they will once again be coaching our Junior Blasters for their third season in a row. Great work boys!

16.01.2022 Who will be Champion of Champions ... why not come along and find out and support your local Cricket Club. Tomorrow 2pm at Gloucester Park, 3 teams will be making history as they play the first 3way T20 game here in Australia. Hawks have already named their team with a few old timers mixed with some of our young stars of tomorrow, the team are looking strong. Hawks will face MR T20 SuperStars and Busselton T20 SuperStars. What a year to make some history as Margaret River Hawks celebrate their 40th Anniversary. Also time to remember our past players and life members for giving us the chance to continue what they started. Good luck to the teams tomorrow.

14.01.2022 Triple header Pink Stumps Day 20th February. At Gloucester Park. If you can’t be with us you can still donate by clicking on the link. All money raised goes to the Glenn McGrath Breast Cancer.

13.01.2022 It’s with great pleasure that I share this with you all. Shane Joyce has gone above and beyond for the club. At the minute he’s been very busy with our Juniors and without him the transition would’ve been a lot harder. Congratulations and thank you Shane from all of us here at Hawks.

13.01.2022 For the good old fashion news, remember to grab the Augusta Margaret River Mail each Wednesday. These legends will have all things Hawks covered all year. Today's paper had an article about this Saturdays come and try day for junior cricketers. 1230 - 130pm at the footy club, straight after their junior grand final. We will also have regos there too so you can sign up on the day for the season ahead!

12.01.2022 Here is an update on COVID Protocols just released! https://www.community.cricket.com.au//co/return-to-playing

12.01.2022 What a great way to start the Hawks season on their 40th Anniversary. A 3 way T20 game. MR Allstars took the Champion of Champions title, Congratulations guys. A bit of confusion might have set in but we soon worked it out, this is something we look forward to running at the end of the season from now on. Was great to see our A grade Captain Mathew Kent being able to present his A grade premiership team their medals. We also had the pleasure of having Ian Earl, Ian Noakes a...nd Brian Devitt 3 of our original past players and Life Members, who told us off their times on the pitch, a little bit of history on how MR Hawks came about. Thank you all for giving up your Saturday afternoon to join us on this special occasion. Another big stepping stone for our club, both Mathew Kent and Michael Earl receiving their Life Memberships. Congratulations to both, you deserve it. A big thank you to all the committee members, it’s not just about the game, it’s what goes on behind the scenes and without you all we could never run such a great club, a club to be proud off. Thank you to everyone who turned up yesterday.

07.01.2022 Huge day at the Nest today. 3 senior games, 3 senior wins. A grade made 150 and bowled saints out for 145. B grade chased down Saints 89 in the 21st over. C grade chased down Saints 93 easily too!... A and B grade are undefeated so far! Great work Hawks! Pictured is Sam Berridge, who has debuted for the Hawks this year, and Bailey Kelly who bowled in place of Matty Kent today under immense pressure......but his jumper summed it up - No Pressure!!

04.01.2022 Less than a week before our B grade start! So who is leading the sides this year? A grade skipper is again Mathew Kent, with the red headed legend Peter Crimp his deputy! Grant Garstone is leading the B grade with Danny Weston and Al Wilkie his vice captains.... C grade is being led by young Angus Currell and Joel Lawrence his deputy. #futurehawks

03.01.2022 ATTENTION FUTURE HAWKS We would like to thank all the juniors who have been attending our combined sessions over the last few weeks. It has been great to have the Future Hawks at these sessions. Due to our increased numbers of seniors attending training and associated safety requirements, we will need to separate the juniors and seniors from this point forward.... Our plan forward is to hold some net sessions over the holiday break, so keep watch on the Margaret River Hawks Cricket Club FB page for updates! And.......if you are keen, we will be making an appearance at the Under 13's AFL Grand Final on Saturday 26th September at 12:30pm on Gloucester Oval so come down and take part in some of the cricket activities.
