21.01.2022 START DATE CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE Sorry families, we are unfortunately unable to re-Open as planned this month due to a few different roadblocks, one being dear old Covid-19 space restrictions and the other being that our premises are still required for use by the childcare centre while their space is under renovation. Please know we are working hard to try and get sessions underway very soon - the people per square metre restriction makes it tricky for us to find... an appropriate space, and we don’t want to have to turn people away!! Playgroup will be closed from today until next Friday when we will be back to business as usual and open throughout the holidays!... 13.01.2022 Hey everyone, So under recommendation from Playgroup WA, we will be suspending our sessions until further notice. This is for the health and safety of both our Playgroup members and our greater community. ... As a committee, we feel collectively that this is the best option in what are currently very uncertain times. We are working on a few plans for our members, and will be in touch once we know exactly where we are at and what we can do. So sit tight! 11.01.2022 Hey everyone, So in light of the current climate we face with COVID-19, Margaret River Playgroup would like to advise that we will be holding our sessions as usual, unless otherwise advised. We are already extremely vigilant with our cleaning/hygiene procedures after each session, with all surfaces and toys being either wiped with disinfectant wipes or sprayed with Glen 20 or Febreze. ... We will now be ensuring members and children wash hands before morning tea etc and will have signs in place around PG that list ways to help stop the spread of viruses. We have also ordered some hand sanitiser, and will encourage you all to use it both when you arrive and leave Playgroup If you or your child is even slightly unwell, we ask that you please do not attend Playgroup until you are well again, to ensure that all members and children feel comfortable and safe with attending!
