23.01.2022 Currently in Mr. Chamberlain’s Year 8 Science class students are learning about energy, in particular potential and kinetic energy. Today students conducted their moon crater investigation, finding out how increasing mass increases potential energy which impacts the size of the crater formed. Next lesson a validation will follow to see what students have taken away from this investigation.

19.01.2022 Interviews have now been concluded. Congratulations to the following students for having been accepted into the 2021 Student Council: :... Sasha Hughes & Rhya Hackett : Araya Heussenstamm & Fletcher Morrison : Cael Boylan, Patrick McFerran & Jett Higgins I am super excited to be working with these ‘ ’. The lower school 2021 nomination and election process will commence in Week 5.

17.01.2022 Year 9/10 Sports Carnival On the 23rd September, 110 students from MRSHS travelled to Bunbury to compete against other schools from the South West region. They all performed well and should be proud of how they represented MRSHS.

14.01.2022 On Monday 12th October, the Year 9/10 Netball Team from Hedland came in to play a friendly game of netball against our MRSHS team who consisted of the following students; Ava Robins, Keale Buckland, Caitlin Smith, Mischa Edwards, Riley Field, Kasey Walton, Taryn Semenow, Gabby Male, Lulu Goodall and Poppy Saunders. Congratulations on a great win 36-6, a deserving result after training hard throughout Term 3 in preparation for this visit!

07.01.2022 On Friday, 20th November, Fifteen Year 8 Margaret River SHS Chinese Language students have their first Web Conference with their sister school from Taiwan - Rui Fang JHS. Both schools’ students enjoyed their online communication and shared the beauty of their regions, culture and cuisine.

03.01.2022 We are very excited to announce the launch of our Facebook social media page. The aim of our page is to show you, our school community, all of the amazing achievements of our students and staff at Margaret River Senior High School. To showcase academic, sporting and artistic achievements, as well as promoting events such as excursions, our annual Creating Identity and Big Band Picnics. The page will also be available for us to provide up to date information to the community regarding unexpected changes to the daily operations of the school.
