25.01.2022 We had the best time riding together!! Pairs is definitely the way to go in the Cape to Cape MTB Having a friend with you all the way through this 4 day stage event, made this easily my favourite year. ... Finishing 3rd in the Masters Female pairs was a bonus and it was an amazing feeling being on the podium each day. Thumbs up to everyone involved and thank you to all the amazing local volunteers. There wasn’t a category for women’s 60+, so I joined the 45+ category yay to feel young again Well done to Rebecca Anne Steele for winning our category of 45+ and totally enjoyed your company along with Linda Holland throughout the day. I spent the day with Kate, my co-coach We had the best time training, throughout... the day we coached, 4 x 1 hour lessons. It was great to see so many ladies ride away smiling, feeling more confident and ready to tackle new features and trails after learning new techniques to ensure a safer ride. 15.01.2022 Already halfway through the Cape to Cape MTB Day 1 from Capeleeuwin Lighthouse was tough. Paula Ferguson and I were happy to get a second place. ... Day 2 was 72km! Wow!! From Leeuwin Estate. Through Boranup Forest, what a blast. It’s not often I race past my front gate, this is my favourite stage.. the Liv pique kept rolling and took me to the finish line We managed to stay on the podium . The prize today, bubbles cheers and looking forward to tomorrow.
