It offers a unique main street with boutique shops like Boho themed Wild Earth Trading Co as featured in our story today. The town was named after the Cowara bird indigenous to the area, although more affectionately known as Cowtown, after the strong influence of the migrant farming community who came here as part of the Group Settlement Scheme in the early 1920’s.
