20.01.2022 Recipe Share : easy, GF, high protein Had some leftover zucchini’s and pumpkin... grated in food processor added to 8 x eggs, cup Parmesan, 1/4 cup coconut flour, goats cheese on top, s&p to taste. Mix. Tip into baking dish and put on oven til cooked! ... Kids love it for snack after school and I take to work for nutritional lunch. Super easy and uses up whatever is left in fridge.

10.01.2022 Hello Margate community, Just placed our first order for Wednesday 22nd January pick up. Your basket of goodness will cost $35 and contains the following produce; ... Everything is Organic except the apples and bananas which are spray free Beetroot - 1kg Kale - 1 bunch Cucumbers - 500g Zucchini- 1kg Carrots - 1.8kg Lady finger banana - 1.2kg Granny Smith apples - 1.2kg I have put it out to the universe we will have 10 buyers and at the moment ORDERS ARE FORTNIGHTLY. I have also ordered Free Range chemical free antibiotic free eggs from Echo Valley Farms. Apparently the happiest chooks around. 1 dozen 600g eggs @ $7.70 per carton. I have 8 dozen left to sell so please let me know if you would like some. Check out www.echovalley.com.au A one off fee of $5 will get you the exclusive rights to a produce transportation carrier in the shape of a sturdy washing basket, please bring it back each time. 03.01.2022 Hello Margate Community Thank you for expressing interest in joining the food co-op. Here is some further info: Orders open Tuesday @ 7pm & close midday Thursday for delivery the following Wednesday afternoon. First delivery will be Wednesday 22nd January. Payment will be required ASAP after you receive your produce via Bank transfer. ... From previous experience I have found that the best way to pack & pick up is for each family/person to have 2 x laundry baskets (I can supply so they are all same size & stack together then add cost to first bill $5.) as they are easy to pack and carry and also sturdy and easy to clean. If you can come and help pack baskets it usually takes about an hour to weigh and distribute the order. Time will be around 4pm on a Wednesday afternoon. If you can’t help that’s completely ok, I will place your order in a shady spot covered up and you can collect any time that suits in the evening. I have found it works best to order the staples in the beginning until we find our rhythm eg. Apples, bananas, broccoli, tomatoes, cucumbers, beetroot, lettuce/kale, potatoes depending what is available as this changes week to week. It’s not all organic, some produce is and most is spray free/ low tox. After a few orders we can see who is keen for bread, milk, eggs etc... and add those on. I am completely open to all feedback on produce / orders and what you would like / don’t like. Obviously I can’t do individual orders but I will endeavour to do my best to suit your families requirements. I would recommend to place a few orders and then decide whether or not being part of a co-op is for you and how often you would like to order. it’s not for everyone but it sure is a more sustainable way of sourcing our food while creating and sharing ideas for a more sustainable future. Your basket will include the following: Sweet potato Potatoes Apples Bananas Tomatoes Pumpkin Onions Kale Cucumber Zucchini’s Carrots All produce is organic / fruit is spray free. The zucchini’s and carrots I ordered this time round are seconds / juicing quality. Bigger basket this time.
