24.01.2022 Yes, I so agree!! A Funeral Service at home, is such a personal and intimate way to say goodbye to one you love!! This is how Denise and Alan chose to farewell their dad David; it was truly beautiful and I thank them for these kind words!... Dear Marg, Our sincerest of thanks for the beautiful commemoration service for our father David. Your words were so very true and you captured the person who dad was and how much he meant to us all.... Such a beautiful day and being in the garden at home where dad loved to sit and have a cuppa was truly lovely and fitting. Dad would have been very chuffed. Thank you for your kindness, Denise Alan and family. See more

22.01.2022 See you at Dawn! Lest We Forget!

22.01.2022 Just opened my email this afternoon to find this about Nick's Service yesterday.... Hi Marg, We want to say a big thank you for the funeral ceremony you hosted for Dad. You delivered the service according to our wishes, keeping things fuss free and with a happy tone, celebrating Dad’s life rather than in a mournful and sad way ... that would not have reflected who Dad was. When you were with the family at home, you dealt with us all in a caring and friendly way, and even though we did a fair bit of talking over one another, you impressively managed to listen to us all and noted down everything we talked about. You allowed us our time to think, and only added helpful suggestions here and there when we did not know what to do next. The whole process was made easy by you, and for that we say once again, thank you very much. We have no hesitation recommending your services to anyone, and wish you all the best. Love The Wings Family. See more

17.01.2022 Some Tips from Good Grief Ltd......for Coping with Grief at Christmas Christmas is a time of mixed feelings for those who are missing someone they love. As we gather with family and friends, the absence of a loved one may be felt even more intensely. Whether it’s a parent or partner who has left the family or a loved one who has died, you may be left feeling out of step with the jolliness of the tinsel and carols. ...Continue reading

15.01.2022 Two weeks ago I attended the funeral of a beautiful young wife and mother whose life was tragically cut short by cancer. And now so sad to see sad that another young family has lost their mum. In both instances, a fitting farewell is so important in providing some comfort and support to all who grieve their loss.

10.01.2022 Thanks Sue for these kind words..... Marg, funerals are something that most of us dread but you, along with the girls from @templetonfamilyfunerals, managed to turn the day I was dreading into the most wonderful celebration of my husband’s life. Everyone who attended commented on the beautiful feel of the Memorial. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Sue ... March 21

10.01.2022 Thanks Richard for your kind words, following Carlene's Farewell. Recently my wife passed away after a long battle with illness. She donated her body to medical research and advised us that she did not wish to have any memorial service. As a family we felt the need to provide some closure for family and friends so, contrary to her wishes, contacted Marg and discussed organising a celebration of life. As the result of Marg’s caring and compassionate attitude we worked together to create a beautiful celebration of my wife’s life which was greatly appreciated and received very favourable comments from many of those who attended. These outcomes were doubtless the result of Marg’s meticulous planning and delivery of the more formal part of the celebration. Thanks Marg.

08.01.2022 Thank-you Owen Family.....You honoured him well!! "You can never truly prepare for losing a loved one, but Marg made the process of remembering Chris a special one. She delivered a beautiful service which reflected who he is, who he was and how he will be remembered. Thank you for allowing him to be alive in our hearts, for listening and for representing us in a time of need. Marg, We are very grateful for the service you provided. It felt like the perfect send -off, and truly represented the love and memories we share with him. So thank you for that. The Owen family."

And the way you handled ‘some interruptions’ was amazing! You’re a gorgeous person and we feel lucky that our paths crossed at this difficult time. You really helped us both to get through. 02.01.2022 What a lovely idea! Love to hear what you would request for your farewell?

02.01.2022 Saying goodbye to your precious little child is heart breaking! Last week two very distraught parents read this poem at the funeral of their 14 month old baby daughter who died suddenly from a mysterious illness. To them and all who are grieving the loss of a little one, I send my warmest thoughts. The Moment that you died... My heart was torn in two One side filled with heartache The other died with you I often lie awake at night When the world is fast asleep And take a walk down memory lane With tears upon my cheeks. Remembering you is easy, I do it every day, But missing you is heartache That never goes away I hold you tightly within my heart And there you will remain See more

01.01.2022 A beautifully colourful farewell for a precious little boy!

01.01.2022 What A lovely way for her parents to honour the life and treasure the memories of their precious little one.

01.01.2022 As I join with families to honour and celebrate the life of a loved one, it is the persons kindness and willingness to listen and help others that is so often acknowledged as one of their greatest strengths and what they will be most remembered for. Nick's farewell at Bunurong yesterday was a perfect example of this.

01.01.2022 It’s important to acknowledge that grieving and the current circumstances that we find ourselves in today can be a time of increased stress. It can make coping ...with the day to day challenging and heighten interactions and situations. If you are feeling the effects of stress, we suggest five ways to deal with and reduce stress.
