20.01.2022 21.06.2019 - The day I married my best friend and soulmate Nastia Gladushchenko on Bruny island, exactly eleven years after we first met in a nightclub in Darli...nghurst. We woke up in our little shack, made a fire, read letters from our families and exchanged our vows in one of the wildest and most beautiful settings that we’ve ever seen. My new friends Damien Milan Photography and @nastiagladu welcomed me like fam...ily (well it was just us and the incredibly talented @baylymoore ) I was privileged to write and speak personally to Damien and Anastasia who trusted me so deeply that they didn’t want to read parts of their ceremony. I choked back tears THREE TIMES!!!! We braved some intense Tassie weather on Bruny (we even changed the wedding day to try and dodge the weather). 16.01.2022 Just over a year ago, on this day it was raining - hard, just when we were supposed to start the ceremony. Sooooo we just decided to all have a drink and wait! No-one cared because we had a drink in hand, and were comfortable and excited. As the Celebrant, it was fun to be involved in the colour scheme of the wedding. I always ask a couple what their colour scheme is, and if there is a colour they do or don't want me to wear. This time I was asked to wear beige/white to f...it in with the wedding party. I was thrilled! I love it when I get to go out and buy something to wear for a wedding and I felt like one of the 'cool kids'. Rehearsal videos and documents. And just to be really clear, I am not an Association, Training Body, Coach or Mentor and I sure as heck don't ever want to be one!
